Newt Dobbs is an absolutely stunning one-year-old long-haired black male cat with a magnificent fluffy coat, beautiful golden eyes, and a face that looks like it belongs on the cover of a magazine. And as gorgeous as this boy is, his story began under some very frightening circumstances.Newt was living outside when a dog attacked and killed several kittens nearby. The homeowner who discovered what had happened was understandably horrified and became very concerned that Newt might be the next victim. Knowing that he was in danger if he remained outside, they reached out for help. That's how this magnificent boy found his way to Edgar and Ivy.Thankfully, Newt was brought to safety before anything happened to him. Here at our shelter, he no longer has to worry about the dangers of living outdoors. He has a safe place to sleep, plenty of food, and people who appreciate just how special he is.And Newt really is something special. His luxurious black fur, expressive golden eyes, and handsome face make him an absolute showstopper. But he isn't just beautiful. Newt is also a very good boy who deserves a family that will treasure him for much more than his looks.Newt Dobbs is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption. After escaping a situation that could have ended tragically, this beautiful boy deserves a lifetime of safety, comfort, and love. Some cats are beautiful on the outside. Some have beautiful hearts. Newt Dobbs is lucky enough to have both, and now he just needs someone lucky enough to call him theirs.

Pat is a sweet kitty that showed up a few months ago. We call him Fat Pat because he never misses a meal! He has been neutered, is extremely friendly and playful. He’s dog like in that he follows me around the yard and comes when I call him. He’s good with other cats and my 2 dogs. He will make a wonderful pet, indoors or outside. I’d love to keep him but will be moving soon. I’ll be willing to get Pat up to date on vaccinations before rehoming.
