Story
Grandma got her name because she is gray, incredibly sweet, and moves at her own slow, gentle pace. We don’t know her exact age, but she has clearly been through a lot. She was previously used for breeding, and when she arrived at CVAS her coat was severely matted and had to be shaved. Once her fur grows back in, it will be long and beautiful again. She was very scared when she first came in and went straight to a foster home on her first day. After spending several weeks in a calm, loving foster environment, Grandma has begun to relax and show her gentle personality. She has learned that people can be kind and comforting, and she now softly paws for affection when she wants attention. One of her favorite things is having gentle fingernail scratches along her back. As you can see she loves her foster's slippers. Grandma is a quiet, loving girl who would do best in a calm home where she can continue to feel safe and cherished. With patience and kindness, she will reward her new family with gentle affection and a peaceful presence. 🐾 Food: I eat 1/2 cup of Diamond Natural food per day. She Likes having some canned food also. Behavior: Sweet/Loving Socializing/Volunteer: Green
