Story
Maxine is a slow-paced kind of gal that's ready for a home that's calm, quiet, and patient enough to give her time to explore on her own terms and grow comfortable. Maxine is a former working cat who has graduated into being a house cat, but she's still a little unsure about hands moving toward her and would do well in a home that will give her the love and patience she deserves to feel safe! --- Maxine is a 5-year-old long-hair female. Her adoption fee is $55. If you are interested in adopting a cat from HSPC, please complete our adoption application. Approved applicants will be contacted within 3 working days for an appointment. We operate by appointment only. Our online application can be found at: https://hspcwi.org/adopt/ All cats adopted through HSPC are spayed/neutered, microchipped, FeLV & FIV tested, and receive core vaccinations (younger kittens may not be fully vaccinated due to age). If you have any questions or concerns, please email the Cat Adoption Manager at adoption@hspcwi.org We look forward to introducing you to your new cat!June 3, 2026, 7:37 pm
