I was found by a nice lady who brought me to the shelter as I had a wound on my back and she thought I was declawed and was worried with me being outside. Well....I'm not declawed, but have now been neutered and have had my wound tended to. I'm ready to go home! I love to chat! I had a bit of a strange infection the vet thought could have been Mycoplama, but the test was negative. I got better with medication and should be good to go with an unlikely chance of recurrence.

My name is Lilac. I was adopted from the shelter about 7 years ago. I recently ended up at another shelter quite a ways from my original home. The fella said he hadn't seen me or the lady for many years. I was not able to go back with him. I came back to the shelter and only weighed 4 pounds! I am eating kitten kibble for extra calories, but was found to have a mass in my neck. We are waiting to see what the blood work shows.... over active thyroid so on medication for that. Despite my recent struggles I am the sweetest kitty yet per the shelter staff! I would love a quiet place to continue to thrive. I have gained 2 pounds in the last month!
