Story
Moose is the absolute best—sweet, goofy, and always happy to be by your side! When he first arrived at the shelter, he was a little unsure of everything, but once he realized he was safe, his wonderful personality began to shine. Now he’s one of the happiest guys around, always ready for a walk, a game of fetch, or a good scratch session with his favorite people. Moose has become a regular on our Miles & Mutts adventures and has proven himself to be an excellent hiking buddy. He loves getting outside and exploring, but he’s equally content to relax and enjoy some quality time with his people. He’s the perfect balance of adventurous and easygoing! This handsome boy has done wonderfully meeting new people and has blossomed into a friendly, affectionate companion. He also has a generally friendly demeanor with other dogs and enjoys saying hello. If you have another dog at home, we’re happy to arrange a meet-and-greet to help everyone get acquainted. Moose appears to be potty trained, though like any newly adopted dog, he’ll need a little time and patience to settle into his new routine. He walks nicely on a leash and knows several cues, including sit, down, come, and shake—what a smart boy! If you’re looking for a loyal adventure buddy who’s just as happy hitting the trails as he is soaking up love, Moose may be your perfect match. Come meet this wonderful gentleman—you’ll fall in love just like we did!

Story
Moe is currently in a foster home. Please give us a call if you would like to meet him so we can coordinate with his foster family!Sweet Moe may have had a difficult start to life, but he has never let that stop him from loving with his whole heart. At just 9 months old, he’s still discovering the world around him and learning that good things can happen when kind people are by his side. If there’s one thing Moe is known for, it’s his endless affection. This gentle boy has a way of quietly sneaking into your lap, resting his head against your chest, and reminding you just how comforting a dog’s love can be. He’s sweet beyond measure and forms such a special connection with the people he trusts. Hopefully you don’t mind dogs sleeping by your side, because that is his favorite place to be! Moe came to the shelter with his brother and has been friendly with other dogs. He’s happy to make new canine friends, and we’re always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet if you have another dog at home. In his foster home, Moe has also been around chickens. While he has never harmed them, he does enjoy giving them a chase if the opportunity presents itself, so he’ll need supervision and continued training around small friends. Like any young dog, Moe enjoys being active and playful. Balls, stuffed toys, and spending time with his favorite people are at the top of his list. He appears to be mostly potty trained, has done well in a crate, walks nicely on a leash, and knows the cue sit. With consistency, structure, and positive reinforcement, we know he’ll continue to blossom into an amazing companion. He has already learned so much! Moe has a gentle, submissive personality and may be a little shy when meeting new people or settling into a new environment. Giving him the time and patience to adjust will allow his loving, cuddly personality to shine. Moe is truly one of those dogs who leaves a lasting impression. He doesn’t ask for much—just a family to love, a lap to curl up in, and a place to finally call home.

Story
Sweet Raven has one simple wish—to spend her golden years feeling comfortable, cherished, and surrounded by love. This gentle senior girl has an incredibly kind heart and has been winning us over more and more each day. Her favorite things include yummy treats, cozy snuggles, belly rubs, and leisurely strolls on warm, sunny days. When Raven arrived at the shelter, she was suffering from a severe untreated yeast infection that had likely been causing her discomfort for quite some time. After more than a month of receiving the care she deserved, Raven is feeling so much better and is well on her way to recovery. Her beautiful coat is growing back, her skin continues to heal, and she’s finally getting to enjoy life again. While Raven has made incredible progress, it’s important for her future family to know that she’s still healing. She is currently taking Apoquel and benefits from regular medicated baths to keep her skin comfortable. She’ll go home with both her medication and medicated shampoo to help her continue thriving. Raven coexists well with other dogs but is perfectly content soaking up the attention herself. She has never shown signs of being an anxious girl, though she can certainly be a little stubborn from time to time! Rain and muddy weather aren’t exactly her favorite things, and she’ll happily let you know she’d rather stay warm and dry. She has done wonderfully meeting new people, including children. Because Raven is a senior, she appreciates gentle handling, soft voices, and kind, respectful interactions that help keep her comfortable. Raven has been such a joy to care for, and we’re so grateful we could be here for her when she needed us most. Now, all that’s left is for this sweet girl to find a family who will love her through the rest of her healing journey. We truly believe the best chapter of Raven’s life is still ahead of her.
