Story
Smokie is a gsd, husky, malamute, cattle dog who is 2.5 years old. Smokie is shy at first but if you have a squeaky tennis ball or yummy treats, you can win him over. He is more afraid of men and a bit barky but he does come around. He loves to play fetch, has good house manners and is kennel trained. Smokie does have a high prey drive so no cats or small critters. He has attended daycare and did best with females, We recommend no children of any age as they could be a bit overwhelming for him. Smokie can be timid when outside of home, meeting people or being in active places. But foster mom says he has made great strides and just needs practice. We are asking for a quiet home in an area with not a lot of traffic or noise. Because he loves to run, jump and play, his own backyard is a must. Smokies person will need to have some patience and time to work with him on his social skills. Story
Viper is a lovable, loyal 5 year old German shepherd. Although he takes some time to warm up once he does you will have a buddy for life. He enjoys belly rubs, pets and treats to bond with you. He loves to play fetch with two balls because it’s just too exciting to put the first ball down! He also enjoys lounging on the couch or outside in the sunshine and rolling in the grass. When you get home he likes to show his love by jumping up to say “hi!” but once he’s greeted he will get down when asked. He loves going for walks but does pull because there’s just to many smells to checkout. He knows basic commands, is house trained, up to date on shots and neutered. He is very anxious around small kids and unpredictable movements so a home without children is a must. He has never been in a home with other animals so would probably do best as an only pet but may get along with other dogs similar in size. He will be the best boy for the right person who will give him the love and attention he deserves. Our rescue is helping his family find a new home. Husky German Shepherd Dog

Story
Sky is about 1.5 years old and she’s had a rough start to life but is much better now and looking for a loving family. Just guessing but we think she is part husky – on the small side – german shepherd dog and terrier. Sky needs some work with her confidence, so she needs a patient family with no young kids to grow. Sky was found living on the streets in south Texas and sadly that life teaches a dog to always be on the lookout for harmful things. Sky was diagnosed with an immune disorder but can easily be managed with a small pill each month which is not expensive at all. She would thrive with another male dog buddy but can also be the only pet, no cats for this kiddo. If you are interested in our sweet girl, please submit your app - https://allmixedupdogrescue.org/
