Story
Name: Meru Age: 2.5 years old, Female Weight: 70 LBS Breed: Husky/Shepard Mix   Good w/ Kids: Yes - She has been around a 3 to 5 year old who has grabbed her, fallen on her and played with her without any incidents. She is very patient with him. She does grab/bite his arm playfully, but does not hurt him.  Good w/ Dogs: Yes - She has been to doggie daycare numerous times without any issues and loves to play with dogs off leash. If she is introduced to a dog on leash she can be protective of me. She does tend to bully the smaller dog she currently lives with but only playfully and has never hurt him. (Just his feelings) Good w/ Cats: No - Have tried to introduce her in the past to a cat and she obsessively tried to attack it. Potty Trained: Yes - She will go easily when taken on walks and if she's inside she will bark at the door when she has to go. Crate Trained: Yes - She was crate trained up until 1 1/2 years old but hasn't been in one for the last year as she's done pretty well being outside of one for up to 4 hours at a time, as long as she is properly exercised. She sleeps on a dog bed inside currently. Also comes with a crate. Training - She went through private training for a couple months and knows basic commands. She walks okay on a leash, and made improvements due to the training, but could use a little more work in this area. She is very alert of her surroundings and other dogs she sees while walking. Activity Level: I typically take her on one 30 minute walk midday. This keeps her somewhat stimulated but only for another few hours and then she shows signs of boredom. She loves going on hikes and as long as she is hydrated and there is shade she can do a few miles. She has been off leash on camping trips and hikes. If you are out in the middle of nowhere she has good recall, however when distracted or closer to civilization she enjoys a short roam.  Spayed: Yes Microchip: YesVaccines:  DA2PP EXP 12/13/24 BORDETELLA EXP 12/13/24 RABIES EXP 12/2025 ##2002245##

Story
Ghost 1yr Husky Mix 67 lb Neutered Male Current of DAPPV, Rabies, Microchip and deworming Good with dogs and kids Solid No to cats, chickens and other small prey Adoption - $200   Ghost is the victim of our times.  Everyone seems to underestimate their abilities to commit to a dog.  Have we made it too easy as rescues and shelters?  Did the current generations get raised in a different level of commitment?  Have we lost ourselves so deep in self-gratification, that once the puppy phase expires we feel zero remorse for making our problems someone else’s problems?   Ghost was literally dumped off on a kind human trying to help the owner get neuter vet care.   Bamboozled is a term still, no?  Anywho, we must help Ghost find real humans that care and are good.  Do you know of anyone searching for a striking handsome white fluffy dog who is ready to spend every minute by your side?Ghost plays with other dogs, is crate trained, house broke and sings the songs of his people when grabbing your attention.    We helped him get that neuter ;) and a little more, but its time to find a forever home.  Drop us an application at thefurryfarmrescue.org #northidahorescue #whatsonemorein24 ##2012873##
