Rocky Road is a happy, energetic guy! His previous family says "Rocky loves playing WITH you but can also lay down and chill. He’s fine with kid 3 and up as far as we know and he loves belly rubs." He has done well meeting other dogs, prefers to poop on walks vs the yard and would love to lounge in your bed.

Meet Paxton Paxton is an eight year old black German Shepherd with a calm, gentle presence. He is truly a well mannered companion who has settled nicely into home life. Paxton is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash. He also knows basic cues such as sit and give paw. He loves to play catch with a ball and enjoys having a good chew toy nearby, but overall he is a very relaxed, easygoing dog. Paxton is comfortable around other dogs and generally pays them no mind. His foster describes him as a calm cuddler who is sweet, obedient, and eager to please. He is happy to do whatever you ask of him. Paxton is past the puppy stage and ready to offer steady companionship, affection, and a peaceful presence to his new family. If you are looking for a loyal, gentle dog who fits easily into a home, Paxton may be the perfect match. To meet Paxton please fill out an application on our website unchainedmelodies.org/adopt All UMDR dogs are up to date on vaccinations and preventatives, spayed/neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee is $200 *This dog is eligible for Black Dog Friday promotion - adopt a black dog in the month of December and be eligible for a FREE etiquette class in January. *Fences are NOT required to adopt from UMDR but we do request a fenced yard for those that would benefit from one. *No Invisible Fences *No Out of State Adoptions
