Story
Marylou is a loving, high-energy German Shepherd/Husky mix born in December 2023. I adopted her from a local shelter at six months old, and her sweet, soulful personality made “Marylou” the perfect name. She’s incredibly affectionate, playful, and loyal—she sleeps at your feet, loves cuddles, and gently “holds your hand” when she’s excited. She enjoys hiking, camping, squeaky balls, and being your shadow. Marylou is housebroken, crate trained, knows her commands, and gets along well with many dogs. As she’s matured, she and my dominant heeler have developed unsafe conflicts, which is not uncommon in shepherds. She would thrive with someone active, with shepherd experience, and ideally as the only dog or only female. She’s a wonderful, sensitive, joyful companion who deserves her perfect home.
