Story
Hi, I’m Bentley! I just turned 5 years old, and I am full of energy, love, and antics! My owners rescued me from Saving Shepherds Rescue in Texas, and moved me all the way to Erie, PA. I love the snow, racing around my backyard, playing fetch, going on walks and car rides, and cuddling. I do better alone, without other animals or small children. I like my personal space, and get protective over my crate, bed, food, and toys. This is why I do better alone- however, I LOVE people, I get so excited, sometimes I pee a little. I need a home where I can exercise, get cuddles, go on walks and car rides- I crave attention and connection with my owners. I can be very vocal- I like to bark when I play and get excited! I am house trained, crate trained, and know a few tricks of my own: I can sit, laydown, come (I also listen to a whistle), high-five, and hug. -We want Bentley to have the best home, he would benefit so much from the attention and love you have to give him!

Story
Hi there, I’m Spirit — and I know what you’re thinking… “Wow, what a handsome boy.” I hear it all the time and you know what - you're right! So get your cameras out people because, surprise, I'm also very obedient and already know sit, stay, down, paw and give belly! Just check out my Christmas tree photo shoot - that was on the first shot and without any treats, like a total pro, if I do say so myself. Now a little about what's on the inside - I’m 2 years old, about 55 pounds, and if you ask anyone at Happy Bark, they’ll tell you I’m a pretty cool guy to hang out with. Sure, summer is fun with the sunshine and the nice weather but have you ever dove face first into a pile of snow?! It is so much fun and I just love being outside swimming in the snow piles. I could really be out there all day and trust me, I will try! I’ve got my fun bursts of zoomies and I could play fetch ‘til the sun sets, but most of the time I’m pretty chill, soaking in the world with my one icy blue eye and one warm brown one. (Heterochromia? Fancy word, but it just means I’m extra cool.) I’m house trained, crate trained, and I’ve even lived with little dogs before. Just a heads-up though: I’m not a fan of cats. Too slinky. Too sassy. It’s a no from me. Not familiar with the husky breed? Before applying online, maybe do some research but I'll admit, I've got some quirks like stubbornness, chatty and I've been known to try to escape the backyard to visit the other neighborhood dogs. My new owner doesn't have to be an expert but a little knowledge goes a long way! So if you’re looking for a handsome husky who could be a dog model on the side, a buddy who’s just as happy chasing a ball as he is lounging by your feet, I might be your guy. I’ve got a heart full of loyalty, a personality that will keep you laughing, and a tail that wags just for you. Ready to meet the handsome husky hunk this side of the fence? Come say hi — I’ll bring the smile, you bring the treats! Spirit's adoption fee is $275.
