NAME: Fresno BREED: Chihuahua/terrier mix SEX: male COLOR: white/golden AGE: Born January 2025 WEIGHT: 12.9 lbs as of 9/20/25 FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Hi! I'm Fresno, and I'm accepting applications for my forever human. I'm about 1yr old and a mixed Fox Terrier/Chihuahua who specializes in cuddles, fetch, naps, sniffing everything and barking only when you need alerting. I enjoy a good belly rub, bones and food. I play well with other dogs, my foster parents currently have a big yard with Sandhill cranes that come around and that is fun. I want to play with them but am ok leaving them alone also. I love being outside and chewing on a good bone or playing fetch. I'm calm but active and don't mind walks with a leash. I'll even dress up if you'd like to put me in clothes. I'm now potty trained at least with the environment I'm in. I love kids, I haven't been around babies or toddlers just yet. I'd love a family who enjoys walks, couch time, and spending a lot of time with me! Fresno was hit by a car and his leg was broken & will be getting an FHO surgery - more info below. Despite my leg situation, I'm full of energy and love to play. I'm a bit goofy, always ready to make you laugh with my antics. I'm friendly to everyone I meet and I'm always up for a game of fetch, even if I can only use three legs. Life may have dealt me a tough hand, but I'm not letting it get me down. I'm just as sweet and playful as any other pup. I believe in making the most of every day and bringing joy to those around me. I'd love to bring that joy to your home. Adopt me and let's start our adventure together! FHO surgery: Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) is a salvage orthopedic surgery for dogs that removes the diseased or damaged ball (femoral head and neck) of the hip joint to eliminate pain, often caused by hip dysplasia, fractures, or arthritis. The body then creates a "false joint" using surrounding muscles and scar tissue, restoring mobility.
