Story
Shiner is a male white with black chihuahua. He is age-guessed as 1-3 years old and he weighs 11 pounds. Shiner is recently neutered. He is vaccinated including rabies. Shiner is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventive. Shiner is ready for adoption. Shiner is Valentine #2 from our group rescued on Valentine’s Day, all pulled from the same overcrowded home. He is one of the few with a name recorded on his paperwork, but it is quite a fitting name, worthy of a giggle every time you see him. Shiner was a tad skeptical on day one, offering a growl or two in a highly stressful situation, but he was over it in about 20 minutes and has shown himself to be a very loving, loyal fellow. Shiner should be fine with other dogs and could probably live peacefully with a cat given some time to adjust. He is crate trained and potty trained. Shiner is ready to shine in his new home. Adoption fee is $350. June is a female beige/lemon colored chihuahua mix. She is 4-5 years old and she weighs about 19 pounds. June is spayed and vaccinated including rabies. She is heartworm negative and on heartworm preventive. June is ready for adoption. June (along with her friend/brother Cash) were surrendered together because their owner can no longer care for them. June has been very well cared for since puppyhood and a full record of her vetting will be provided. She is a gentle-natured, easy going lady. June is dog, cat and people friendly. She is very cooperative and smart. June is reportedly easy to live with. She is potty trained, crate trained and walks on a leash. June would make a great companion for an older adult with or without other pets. She would also be able to adapt to a family setting. June can travel or be a home body. She’s a total sweetheart. June and Cash can be adopted together which will result in a $25 discount off of each adoption fee. Adoption fee for June is $275 (Cash’s is $150). Story
Sally is a female white with red/tan Chihuahua mix maybe with red heeler. Estimated DOB mid-February and she weighs 19 lbs (as of 6/19/25). She and her 2 littermates and mom Daisy were owner surrendered to spare them from living outside in an unfenced yard. In their foster home, Sally and her siblings have proven to be very social with people and other dogs. The other dogs in the home are older and Sally is very loving with them, kissing and playing nicely. She loves water and playing in a tiny kiddie pool. Sally is smart. She has done well with potty training. Sally sleeps in a kennel and loves her kennel voluntarily using it for nap time too. Sally has learned about gardening and loves her veggies. She is working on learning the leash. Mom Daisy is a good dog with an even temperament, well behaved and loving. Her puppies have the potential to be the same. She is a chihuahua mixed with something a tad larger and weighs in close to 20 lbs. Dad(s) unknown. Sally’s adoption fee is $150. She has had 3 sets of vaccinations, two rounds of deworming and has started heartworm prevention. Adopter will complete the appropriate vaccinations and continue heartworm prevention. Sally will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract, signed by the adopter requiring the adopter to have her spayed before six months of age at the adopter’s expense. We make no guarantees about breed or size.
