Hi, I’m Luna! I’m a beautiful rescue girl who came from a reservation, and I’m ready to find a family who will give me the time, patience, and love I need to truly blossom.
I’m energetic, loving, and playful, and I get along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes. I can be a little skittish, especially when someone tries to handle me, which makes me think something in my past may have made me afraid. But there’s an easy way to win me over—just sit down! Once you’re sitting, I’ll happily climb into your lap, give you lots of kisses, and soak up all the love you’ll give me.
I walk nicely on a leash and really enjoy going for walks. I’m still working on house training and occasionally have an accident inside, but I’m trying hard and making progress. I’m also frightened of crates, so I’ll need patience and a different approach while I learn that I’m safe.
I may need a little extra understanding because of my past, but I have so much love to give. Give me time, patience, and a safe place to feel comfortable, and I just might become the perfect dog for you.
And yes… my foster Dad says I’m beautiful. I think he might be right. ❤️
Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
