Story
North Factor came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky where he ended up by no fault of his own. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 02/14/19 and he currently weighs 33#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He is in foster and good with cats. He is now house trained too! He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol And heart worm tested negative. He is in foster, good with cats and has been wonderful with respectful children. His adoption donation is $150 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport. Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##811919##

Story
Meet Gus! Approximately 3 years old 56 lbs Labrador/Pointer Mix (our best guess) Gus came in to us as a stray by animal control, and was sadly never reclaimed. Since then, he's been waiting for someone to see the amazing dog he truly is beyond the kennel stress. Gus is potty trained, walks well on a leash, and is full of energy! He thrives on exercise, playtime, and mental stimulation. Because of his high prey drive, Gus will need a home without cats and no young children, only older kids (12+) who understand his boundaries. We haven't fully dog-tested him, but we believe Gus would be happiest as the only pet in the home. The shelter environment is incredibly stressful for him, and it shows. It breaks our hearts to see how much it's wearing on him. Not just for his sake, but because his distress affects the other dogs as well. Gus needs out. He needs a fresh start in a loving home where he can decompress, play, and just be a dog again.    His adoption fee has been generously sponsored in loving memory of Tanner Virgil- a tribute that we know would mean the world to both Tanner and Gus if it leads to him finding his forever.  Neutered, Lyme and heartworm negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $0!   If you are interested in meeting and adopting, please submit an application here: https://www.fultoncoanimalcenter.org/application-to-adopt-a-dog Once submitted our staff will review and then contact you to set up a meet and greet! If it's a match, you can take home on the same day. Any other dogs in the home must come in for a meet & greet! We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!    Closed Sunday/Thursday    11-4 Saturday/Monday   11-5 Tuesday/Friday    11-6 Wednesday ##2354498##
