Elsie`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - UnknownKids - Yes, 8+Elsie may be a senior dog, but don’t let her age fool you—she’s got plenty of life and love left to give! She arrived at HSHC severely underweight and in rough shape, but with good food, care, and love, she’s thriving and ready to find a family who will cherish her golden years. This sweet girl is smart, well-behaved, and completely potty trained. She knows sit and shake, patiently waits for her food, and will even relax quietly while you eat (with just one gentle reminder). She’s not a barker, except for a few minutes when you leave—just to let you know she’ll miss you.Elsie loves belly rubs, cuddles, and exploring the backyard. She may be mature, but she’s still agile and curious, happily sniffing around and taking in the world. And for a special treat? A few bites of pineapple make her day! ??She’ll do best in a home with kids 8 and up who understand how to be gentle with a senior pup. If you’re looking for a loving, well-mannered, and easygoing companion, Elsie is ready to meet you!

Story
Bud was adopted from a rescue in 2020. He is 5 years old. We are looking for a new home for him because he is unpredictable around our baby, who is our number one priority. He is a big dog and would do best in a home with a big yard or some one who is dedicated to giving him daily exercise. He generally does well with other animals once introduced but does have slight food aggression. He can be rambunctious but he is a loving dog that deserves a good home.
