Meet Arlo!Arlo is an absolutely adorable 2-year-old Pointer mix with a heart as big as his smile, and he’s ready to find a home to call his own!
When Arlo first arrived at HART, he was underweight, shy, and in need of some serious TLC. With time, love, and care, he’s blossomed into a sweet, eager-to-please pup. He’s currently putting in the work at a professional training program in Virginia to prepare for his forever home, and he’s almost ready to graduate!
Arlo will be back at HART within the next two weeks and ready to meet his perfect match. Several of our dogs have thrived after graduating from this same program, including Dolly, Trace, and Echo, who all found their forever homes shortly after!
Check out his video to see Arlo in action! He’s mastering obedience skills like “heel,” “place,” and holding a solid “sit” even with distractions. He’s also been out exploring new places like the park and Lowe’s with a trainer friend, and doing great!

All our dogs and puppies are spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies, Bordetella, and distemper/parvo, treated with flea/ tick medication, tested for heartworm and Lyme disease, and given a microchip before being adopted into their new homes.
