Story
Bubba is some sort of pointer mix and is about 4 years old. Such a sweet boy who has always welcomed affection and has such a love for life. When we found him, he was quite emaciated and required proper refeeding and lots of love. Our family felt as though he found us for a reason and therefore he has been at home with us, hoping his owners may respond to social media posts however this never happened and unfortunately, he was never microchipped. He is doing really well right now in regards to having gained appropriate weight and although we will miss him, we are not in a position to keep him long term. Bubba is a high energy dog that thinks he is a lap dog:) Requires ability to get significant amount of exercise daily. Loves walks, car rides and palling around. Knows basic commands. Walks well on a leash but requires redirection with bunnies/other dogs/some people as he will bark. Has started to play along fence line with neighbors dog. Warming up to our FIVE cats :)

Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Crostini has been an absolute rockstar. Not a single accident, and he’s already mastered life as a three-legged adventurer. He can’t wait for walks, and the moment you take off his cone, all he wants is to get as close as possible for a cuddle. He’s the sweetest, gentlest boy and loves with his whole heart. Every now and then he’ll give a little nibble to get your attention—not because he’s being rough, but because he’s so excited to connect with you. It’s the kind of nibble that makes you laugh and say, “Easy, OUCH, buddy!” while he looks at you like you’re his favorite person in the world. When I met him, he had a broken leg and a positive attitude. Now he has three legs, the same positive attitude, and a whole lot of love to give. He’s truly special and will do best with someone who can handle a bigger boy whose favorite hobby is loving people and other dogs. 💕 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sleepy Eye, MN Tito is a beautiful, mixed breed young female dog with a sleek, smooth, and soft coat who often appears to be smiling. She is usually happy and enjoys playing with other dogs and getting attention from her people - she is a bit cautious around new people or fast-moving children. As with many dogs, she does a "happy dance" when her people come home, pick up a leash or she is let out of her crate. She is excited to go for walks and is becoming more confident. She would make a great companion for someone who wants to get out and walk. She has enough energy for a couple of walks a day. She enjoys sniffing and exploring during the walk. Tito has almost mastered house training. She almost always takes care of business outside but does have an occasional accident indoors—usually when humans miss her cues or she is having too much fun to ask to go outside. Although she sleeps in her crate, she probably would be very happy to have a home with someone who wanted to share a bed with her. She also enjoys morning belly rubs. At this point in her life, she likes nipping the other dogs' ears and hind legs so she might do better in a home with a confident dog about her size or larger or possibly would do quite well as an only dog. She does jump up when excited so would probably do better in a home with children at least 10 or older. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Plymouth, MN Cyrus is going to make such a wonderful addition to someone’s home. He has not had a single accident since being in his foster home and knows to go to the door when he needs to go outside. He is respectful of the house and not destructive. This sweet love bug has been through a lot. He was found outside with a large wound on his back shoulder and was very skinny. He has since been all stitched up and is slowly filling out, learning how to be loved again. He is very food motivated and loves to lounge on the couch or curl up on a pile of clothes 😉. Cyrus has learned sit and wait, and while he’s still working on mastering new commands like stay, he listens well and behaves beautifully. He loves going for walks and does well on leash. He enjoys playing with other dogs, is very submissive, and does an excellent job respecting their boundaries. He would make a great playmate for another dog in the household but would also do just fine as an only dog. Cyrus isn’t a big fan of the kennel, but once he’s in it (and medicated if needed), he does well and usually doesn’t require being kenneled at all. He truly just needs a loving, patient home where he can continue to feel safe and thrive. 💙 --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Faribault, MN Sweet Pea is a sweet and spunky pup. She LOVES to play with the resident dogs, who are quite a bit larger than she is, followed by a nap/chill. She likes to play tug-of-war with ropes and toys. She sleeps through the night in her crate and, upon waking, is ready to head outdoors to do her business. Then, she is ready to eat. Pea has come a long way with potty training. She mostly goes outdoors. She is fairly accurate with puppy pads but also likes to shred said pads if she has not been stimulated enough. Sweet Pea would do great in a fully fenced yard where she can run and explore safely. She would also love a canine playmate. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
