Story
Location: Minneapolis, MN Meet Kieran: An Ultimate Calm-Confident Companion! Are you looking for the perfect blend of a loyal shadow and a confident, independent pup? Meet Kieran! This handsome guy is an absolute dream helper in a puppy body, showing a level of emotional maturity well beyond his age. So exciting to see what a wonderful partner Kieran is developing into! Why You’ll Fall in Love: - The "Justin Bieber" Ears: Kieran has the most unique, adorable ears ever! One of them flops perfectly over to the other side like a classic, swoop-style haircut. It gives him the most charming, expressive look whenever he attentively looks at his human for cues. - Sweet, Interested Eye Contact: Kieran forms a deep, meaningful connection with his people. He offers irresistible, calm eye contact, looking right to his human to read your facial expressions and check for instructions on what to do next. - Neighborhood Celebrity: Walking Kieran is pure joy. He is fantastic with both adults and little children who want to pet him on his walks, and he remains completely non-reactive when passing other dogs. Even better, whenever his human stops walking, such as at crosswalks, Kieran automatically sits and looks up to check in for his next instruction! - A Quiet Einstein: Kieran loves learning new things. He is highly food-motivated, already sits instinctively, is surprisingly quiet, and has a spectacular nose that would make him amazing at scent games or tracking puzzles. - The Perfect Host: Kieran handles visitors like a little gentleman. When guests come over, he is not fearful or overly needy for attention, letting everyone settle in comfortably. He lays happily at the feet of the humans as they visit. - Naturally Confident: While he loves his humans, he is very secure for his age. When it is time for you to leave, just hand him a teething stick and he is happy to relax solo—no panic or door scratching! - Impeccable House Manners: He has shown zero destructive behavior in the home and hasn't chewed a single piece of furniture. He does have a hilarious quirk of collecting shoes in his bed, but he treats them like gold and snuggles up to them! - Ultimate Trust & Belly Rubs: He is very comfortable with belly rubs! Kieran shows no anxiety or hesitation about rolling over on his back to expose his belly, proving just how safe and secure he feels with his humans. - The Ultimate Chores Assistant: Kieran loves to "help" with the laundry! He will happily supervise your folding and sorting, making chore day way more entertaining with his adorable presence. Another favorite is taking out the trash – a fun outing he eagerly looks forward to as you tie up the trash bag! Kieran is a fast, eager learner who thrives on positive reinforcement. He is an enthusiastic eater, so his future family may want to use a slow-feeding bowl (which doubles as great mental stimulation!). He has shown zero food aggression and responds beautifully to guidance. Like any healthy puppy, he gets a fun case of the "post-meal zoomies" where he might try to gently chew on your hands like a littermate, but he is very easily redirected to a good chew toy. He will do best in a home looking for a smart, attentive partner ready to explore the world together. *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi! My name is Gunner. I’m a really happy boy! I basically love everything other than maybe when my foster mom is gonna leave & she puts me in the kennel. I do okay in there though. I don’t have any accidents. I love people so much! I like to shadow my foster mom & follow her everywhere to make sure she is okay! I have a young foster brother here too & we love to play! I also love the resident dogs. I’m very interested in the cats here too, but I’m getting used to them & learning I need to leave them alone or they punch me! There are a lot of kids here too & I really love them. I’m still young, but I’m learning quickly to not jump & be respectful of the tiny humans! I have a giant yard here & I love to play out there & run! They have a whole basket of toys here & I dig through to find my favorites! Sometimes I grab something I shouldn’t around the house, but if you give me a toy or bone I am happy to take that instead! I sleep on the floor in my foster parents room & I really enjoy that. I am house-trained since I came to live here too & they are very proud of me. I don’t mind others around my food whether they are humans or other dogs. I’m told I’m such a beautiful boy with my silky coat & pointy ears. My foster mom really likes pointy ears! I really think I like this life that involves warm beds & snuggles! Do you think you could be my new family? *Originated from: North Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Cloud, MN Meet a dog who embodies everything people love about a presumed Husky mix—adventurous, intelligent, full of personality, and always ready for the next adventure. This energetic pup approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity, whether it’s exploring a new trail, playing with favorite toys, or simply finding a fun way to entertain himself. His sharp mind makes him a quick learner, though that independent Husky streak means he sometimes likes to decide for himself when and how things should be done. Friendly and social, this dog enjoys being around people and thrives on companionship. He can be vocal and expressive, never shy about sharing his thoughts, feelings, or excitement with his family. As a hardworking and active companion, he’ll do best with a home that can provide plenty of physical exercise and mental enrichment to keep his busy mind engaged. Like many Husky mixes, he can be a little mischievous when boredom strikes and he doesn’t enjoy being left alone for long periods. He would prefer being part of the action and spending time with his people. Toys are his favorite pastime, and he loves having outlets for his energy and playful nature. This pup also prefers not to be kenneled and would thrive with a family committed to helping him succeed through structure, activity, and companionship. Because of his instinctual prey drive and preferences, he is looking for a cat-free home. For the right family, Joss will be a loyal adventure partner, a source of daily laughter, and a constant reminder that life is meant to be lived to the fullest. *Originated from: North Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Lynd, MN I’m a puppy in the true definition of a puppy—full of energy, curiosity, and personality! Sometimes I play a little harder than I should, so I tend to do best with older kids who can keep up with my playful side, though with time and training I may learn to be gentler with younger children too. I live with another dog who’s a bit older, and sometimes he ignores me, so I’ll relax on the couch or entertain myself with my puppy toys. One of my favorite things is sitting on the couch watching TV—although I do like to bark at my own shadow sometimes! Oh and I have a heart on my ear - it is my foster's favorite thing about me! *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Location: St Peter, MN Meet Carina! 🦊 Carina is such a little fox—foxy is definitely the perfect way to describe her! She is full of puppy love, playful energy, and sweet cuddles. Carina is crate trained, though she may be a little vocal at first. Give her a cozy pillow in her crate, and she’ll settle in nicely. She is currently working on her potty training and is making great progress. This smart little girl already knows how to sit and is eager to learn, especially when treats are involved! She loves to play and will happily keep you entertained with her fun personality. Carina would love a home with children and would enjoy having another dog to play with, but she’s also happy to be the center of attention—it isn’t a requirement. At night, she’s perfectly content sleeping in bed with her people or curled up on a soft blanket. If you’re looking for a clever, affectionate, and playful puppy to add to your family, Carina is ready to steal your heart! *Originated from: South Dakota Reservation. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
