Story
Ronnie is a 10-month-old mix with a huge heart and an even bigger comeback story. Months ago, he was rescued after being hit by a car, suffering deep wounds and road rash on his back legs and feet. Thanks to dedicated veterinary care and time to heal, those injuries are completely behind him. You would never guess what he went through watching him zoom around today. Ronnie made his way to New York two weeks ago and has been thriving ever since. He’s about 38 pounds (smaller than his photos make him look!) and is the perfect mix of playful and snuggly. He loves other dogs, is crate trained, and once he bonds with you, he is all in. He can be a little shy when first meeting someone—but pull out a few treats and you’ll see his sweet, funny personality shine through almost instantly. It truly doesn’t take long to win him over… and he will absolutely win you over just as fast. He’s curious, affectionate, resilient, and full of that joyful puppy energy. Whatever he endured hasn’t dimmed his spirit one bit. Ronnie is living proof that tough beginnings can lead to incredible futures. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion with a heart of gold, Ronnie might be your guy. * Please note: All dogs are rescues so we often do not know the actual breeds but use an educated guess to tell you what they most look like. Our adoption fee is $400 and unless otherwise stated all dogs and puppies have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, 4DX tested(if age appropriate), Put on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, age appropriately vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked and flown from Puerto Rico. Story
Albert is an energetic eight year old pointer mix. He loves long walks, playing fetch, and snuggling. He needs a home that can provide him with plenty of exercise. He is house trained and knows basic commands (sit, wait), but due to having a new baby we cannot meet his exercise needs anymore. He is a very sweet boy who loves people more than other dogs. While he gets along with other dogs (used to go to doggie daycare every day), he can get possessive with food and toys (only with dogs, with people he is fine). He is a very special boy. If interested in a meet and greet, reach out.
