🐾 Meet Darius 🐾
1 year old • 55 lbs • Neutered male • Pointer mix (best guess)
Darius is the kind of dog who makes himself right at home in your heart — and probably on your couch. He’s a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves cuddling with his people, soaking up attention, and being part of whatever you’re doing.
This handsome guy already knows several commands including sit, down, shake, kennel, and leave it. He walks nicely on a leash, is fully house trained, and politely waits to go outside. Darius is also crate trained and does very well settling in his kennel.
Darius does great with other dogs and has done well around cats, making him a solid fit for multi-pet homes. He’s comfortable being handled — pets, brushing, collars, the whole spa package — and does well around children too.
When it’s playtime, Darius is the perfect mix of gentle and fun. He enjoys playing with other dogs, loves fetch and tug-of-war, and can entertain himself with toys when you’re busy. His foster shared that he especially enjoys having another young dog around who matches his playful energy.
Darius is very social and loves being close to his people. Like many affectionate dogs, he may need a little time to adjust when left alone, but with routine, enrichment, and structure, he does very well.
He’s still a young dog polishing his manners, but he’s responsive, eager to please, and thriving with consistency and guidance.
If you’re looking for a loving, playful, well-rounded companion who fits beautifully into a family environment, Darius might just be your guy.around cats, making him a solid fit for multi-pet homes.
