Bogey is a sweet boy who is a little shy. He wants to be touched, but doesn’t quite know how to let himself be petted. You have to approach him slowly and give him some time and he will open up. Bogey was trapped as a feral but was considered way to sweet to be released back out. Bogey is about 7 years old and a polydactyl. Bogey has been with us for a long time and is just waiting for his family to come and get him.

Hi! I'm MINK. I'm 8 weeks old and have extra toes! They call me a polydactyle and tell me I am super special. I'm white with a couple grey spots and have short hair. I can into he Stanislaus animal shelter and was rescued by OKR in the nick of time. See, I curreently have ringwoorm, which sounds scary, but it's not a worm. It's a fungus, but the problem is, it's airborn, so I can't be in a crouded shelter or al the other kittens might get it. OKR helped get me out of there and I am now on medication. Once the Vet clears me to go home, you can come get me.  NOTE: OKR kittens come to us from backyards, barns, bushes, garages, shelters, and the streets. We help them heal physically and emotionally, so they are ready for their furever homes. Most of our kittens are under a year old, with a few adults available. We expose many OKR kittens to dogs, other cats, toddlers, and the dreaded vacuum! After three vaccines, our kittens are welcome into the kitten clubhouse, where they meet all their new friends.  Some of our kittens are spayed/neutered before adoption. If the kitten you choose is not yet spayed/neutered, we will notify you of the next available surgery date and the cost is covered as part of the adoption fee.  We want our adopters to have every opportunity to bond with their new fur baby. We have the FOSTER TO ADOPT PROGRAM that allows you to adopt a kitten before it has been spayed/neutered and has at least 1 FVRCP vaccines. To adopt a kitten, the adoption fee must be paid in full and the kitten must be brought to their pre-scheduled spay/neuter appointment. Our goal is to send you home with a healthy, happy, well-cared-for kitten, so we offer more services to accomplish that goal. Each kitten will receive up to 3 FVRCP vaccines, deworming, parasite and flea treatments, a nail trim, and microchipped.  Adoption Fee: $250 with a few exceptions of breed and color from $325 as listed. If you want to place a HOLD on any kitten, the NON-REFUNDABLE hold fee is 50% of the adoption fee. We will then remove the listing and hold the kitten for you. All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home.All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in 'bonded pairs' or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually.
