Story
Cane is a super super sweet polydactyl cat who was found in the street hit by a car. We took him in to our rescue and he had surgery to repair his leg. He's healed up fine and doing so great now! He loves attention and is always begging to be pet. He did test positive for FIV, but that's no big deal and he LOVES other cats. Cane also LOVES dogs soooo much. He is always rubbing on my large bully breed and trying to cuddle with him! And he cuddles with other kitties and licks and grooms them too! He is just such a sweetheart! His adoption fee is $150 Cane is a polydactyl and has tons of extra toes in the front and has extra toes in the back too! You can find videos of him on our social media posts.

Story
Chata is a slightly timid but very sweet kitty who is looking for a quiet home where she can be the star of your heart. She didn’t get much of a chance to make kitten friends when she was younger, and at this point is reactive to other animals and would need to be a solo pet. She can be cautious at first, but is she’s highly motivated to get hugs, pets and snuggles from her people. She is a dashing little polydactyl with the softest coat, if you’re looking for a special kitty who will blossom into your new best friend, Chata is a deserving choice. Chata likes to play with wand toys, and all types of items she can chase. She loves to sink her teeth into the side of a fresh cardboard box. She would do best with adults only, or older kids who understand basic cat behavior, and definitely someone who wants to shower her with affection. Chata is fully box-trained and is on a variable diet of wet and dry food, preferring to rotate through different flavors and textures. Story
Peanut is a bundle of loving energy. Although he’s 4 years old, he plays like a kitten--blazingly fast at chasing wand toys. With a face that’s part tabby, curly ears, and a smidge of “Grumpy Cat”, his looks are unique! Smart as heck, sweet and friendly, he wants to be with you, and get pets, head and tummy scratches. Kitten Rescue saved Peanut from the LA shelter, where he had become blocked and couldn’t pee (a life-threatening situation). He had surgery to solve this and is fully healed, but his forever home needs to maintain him in a low-stress environment and monitor his bathroom habits to ensure he doesn’t get blocked again. He must be on wet (canned) food suitable for his condition to ensure his ongoing health. For these reasons, as well as his kitten-like qualities that require patience and dedicated time spent playing with him least twice a day, he would be best with experienced cat owners working from home or a family who’s willing to give him the care he needs. In return, Peanut will greet you at the door, follow you around the house, and keep you company while you work. His curly ears and bob tail, as well as his giant feet and polydactyl toes will enchant you; and his easy-going manner and friendliness with everyone make him a crowd-pleaser. Story
Sleek, shiny, and sporting the cutest polydactyl mittens, Richard is the definition of a curious scamp. He’s first on the scene for every new noise, toy, and adventure, zipping around the house like he owns the place (and honestly, he kind of does). Richard may be mischievous, but he’s also a total sweetheart. He loves shadowing his humans, supervising all activities, and showing off his goofy kitten energy. One minute he’s pouncing; the next he’s purring in your lap. Because he’s bursting with kitten zest, Richard needs another young, active cat in the home to play with, wrestle with, and learn from. He thrives with a buddy who can keep up (and, if you’re looking for two, he especially likes his foster siblings Samuel KRLA-A-86878 and Rosie KRLA-A-86877). If you’re ready for endless entertainment, extra toes, and a whole lot of charm, Richard is your guy. Please contact the foster at kizmetkats@gmail.com

Story
A gorgeous lilac point shorthair cat, Cornelia has striking blue eyes and is a Hemingway cat, or polydactyly– she has six toes on her front paws. She and her brother Carter, KRLA-A-87099, had never lived in a home until a foster family rescued them from the shelter. Though shy at first, Cornelia has quickly become super social. She’s curious – always stretching her beautiful neck to see what’s happening– and loves being around both adults and kids-she's happy to be picked up and held by her foster family's kids! She and her brother are playful and bat around cat toys. Once she's comfortable she has the loudest purr we’ve ever heard. Cornelia loves to snuggle under blankets and in the crook of an elbow. She’s good at using the scratching post and swatting at toys, but is gentle with people- she likes to lick the hands that feed her. Cornelia seems so grateful to be in a cozy home–now she needs to find a forever home for her and her brother. Please contact the foster at Julia.Boorstin@gmail.com
