Story
Paisley is a stunning, dilute tortie. She is also a polydactyl! Not only is she so beautiful but she also has a beautiful personality. She has gone through a lot. The young man that loved her so much kept her hidden in his apartment with a no pet policy. He truly loved her though because he knew that was not a good life for her and he realized that he could not afford to provide properly for her. He let her go and she is now searching for a home where she can be a princess. Paisley is very personable, outgoing, loving and affectionate. We are not sure if she is good with other cats right now. We know that she will do well as an only cat. Should you have other cats and would like to give Paisley a home, it's important that you do a proper introduction to get her used to other cats. Please fill out an application for this beauty on our website at www.hucatrescue.org. Thank you! Paisley will be featured this Sunday, June 22nd at the Petco, 9 West Avon Rd. in Avon, CT. We will be on our partner's van; the North Shore Animal League. The hours are from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Please fill out an application on our website in preparation for the event. Thank you!

Meet Thumbs Up – the cat with a little extra love to give (and a few extra toes to match)!Thumbs Up is a charming one year old polydactyl cat, which means he has some bonus toe beans—just one more thing that makes him special! His extra toes don’t affect his health or mobility at all; they just add to his already irresistible cuteness.Originally found living outside, Thumbs Up has quickly embraced the indoor life. He’s incredibly affectionate and vocal, and he’ll happily meow at you until you give him the pets he craves. Once the attention starts, he’s all purrs and happy vibes. He picked up litter box manners like a pro and is now exploring more of his space—he’s started climbing the cat tree and loves lounging on the cat window perch to watch the world go by.If you’re looking for a quirky, cuddly, and chatty companion, Thumbs Up is your guy! Come meet this special sweetheart and see just how lovable a few extra toes can be.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.May 5, 2025, 11:29 am
