Story
Ireland came into our care after being found as a stray so we don't know anything about her background. We do know she is approximately 1 year old, has adorable mitten feet (extra toes) and is gorgeous. She was very shy at first, but she's blossomed at her foster home, and she absolutely loves being petted and brushed, and she's been getting more playful as she gains confidence. She is still timid about new situations, so would like a quiet home with no young kids, although she would likely be happy with a gentle feline companion. The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application at https://www.medfieldshelter.com/adoption-forms/cat. If you are ready to adopt, please fill out an adoption application. We offer same-day adoptions, so if the cat is a fit, you can take them home the day of your meeting. If a cat is listed on our website, it is still available for adoption, but applications may have been received before yours. All adoption meetings are by appointment only. The adoption fee for cats seven months to two years old is $250 for one cat and $350 for a pair; for cats three years to ten years old, it is $200 for one cat and $300 for a pair; and for senior cats 11 years and over, it is $125. The fee includes age-appropriate vaccines, deworming, microchip testing, testing for FeLV and FIV, and spaying/ neutering.
