Story
Meet Pippen and Piper! These polydactyl brothers were born October 7, 2025. They are now ready to venture off to find lifelong, loving homes. Or, better yet, adopt them as a pair. Pippen is grey and Piper is a buff, light orange color. These boys love to wrestle and play with toys. They are sweet, friendly, cuddly lap kittens, when they've worn themselves out from play, play and more play. Apply to adopt today! Adoption fee: $125. Adopt a pair: $200. Fee includes testing, deworming, vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip and 30 days of free pet insurance. Adoption and Foster Care ApplicationComplete this form and a volunteer will contact you to answer questions and to schedule a meet-n-greet. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of cats is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable cats, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each cat or kitten as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our cats based on personality, not by breed label. Adoption Process: Complete the application at www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
We'll also keep you updated on Piper's adoption status with email updates.
