Story
Hey there, I'm Button, and let me tell you, I'm as cute as a button—literally! You know why? Extra toes on my front paws, making me a polydactl cutie. My partner in crime is Nora, and together, we've got quite the story. Picture this: we were living the outdoor life near a fire station, getting our grub from some kind firefighters. But then, Motor City Trappers stepped in to rescue us from the rough-and-tumble. Now, we've traded the wild for the sweet indoor life, and we're loving every moment of it. I'm the outgoing, brave adventurer who adores a good brushing and pets from my humans. I'm really blossoming into my true button-esque self. Nora, on the other paw, is a bit shy but socially savvy, so she's got her own charm. Here's the deal—we've been partners in crime since birth, and we're looking for a forever home that appreciates our quirks. A quiet haven with patient pet parents who can help us fully bloom and savor the good life. We've got the love, the charm, and the extra toes—what we need now is you! Could you be the one to help us trust, relax, and enjoy life to the fullest? Let's find out together! ?? Button is 1-2 years old, spayed, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV tested, microchipped, dewormed & flea treated. We do our best to provide information that will help determine if the animal might be a good fit for you. Please note that behaviors may change in a home environment. We also ask our applicants to assume that any animal they adopt from us will need to be potty-trained and learn house manners, although this is not always the case. In most cases, the listed breeds are also a best guess. Our online animal bios are designed to provide as much information as possible and answer some anticipated questions. We do not have the resources to respond to emails with more specific questions. We are receiving an unusually high number of applications at this time! Applications are reviewed as they are received, but we do not select adopters on a first-come basis. Our job is to ensure each pet is placed into the best fit home for them and that adopters are paired with an animal that is a good fit for their lifestyle. All animals will stay on Petfinder until they are “pending adoption”. Therefore, if an animal is still listed, we are still accepting applications for him/her! Please do not send inquiries about a specific animal's availability as this can change quickly over the course of the day. The fastest way to get a response is to simply submit an application! We will do our best to notify you by email if the pet(s) you are interested in are no longer available. New animals are posted daily, so please let us know if another furry friend peak your interest (there is no need to fill out a second application)! Fill out the application (DOG: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=26, CAT: https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=dr1937&method=online_form_html&formid=41, EXOTICS: https://us14b.sheltermanager.com/onlineform_view?formid=46) completely. Story
Moki is a beautiful male kitty. He's a alpha kitty who's been living in a smaller home with a lot of other male cats and that is not something a alpha cat can do easily. He wants his person to belong to him, not share with many other cats. Also the home he's in has an indoor smoker who's been filling the house with cigarette smoke that has affected the cat's health in the house. Moki needs to get out of this home where he's not doing well at all. We are looking for a non-smoking home where he is the only pet. No children and someone who is home often or there are two people so he's not only. Also he needs a home that is a house and not an apartment where there is a lot of traffic. The views from the windows need to be a relaxing view. He is easily set off with stress, so he needs a calm relaxing space in which to live. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 and make sure to leave your phone number. Or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com. He does have a inhaler he needs occasionally, but it's very affordable. $15 and lasts for months.

Story
Joahna and his only brother Luka are sweet little furballs right now. VERY FRIENDLY. Joahna is a GORGEOUS Classic Tabby. Long fur and so soft. They are the only surviving babies of their young mother Karma. He had another siblings born with him who didn't make it, only one other survived and that is Luka born two days earlier. Karma was not fed well when she and her sisters and mother were outside pregnant. Karma could not make milk for her kittens. We had to bottle feed her babies for a few days. The male cats in this colony were all long haired also. Luckily Karma's mother, Serenity, had six kittens five days later and was able to feed Karma's babies and eventually with extra food we were giving Karma she was able to have enough to nurse just one of the babies as well. Serenity and Karma are together and mothering all those babies. Luka is a cutie, he's the only orange tabby of the bunch. Joahna is a dark classic tabby with swirls instead of stripes and he's a cutie poo. We are looking for non smoking homes for them. They are a pair, they would be okay with older children, with cat friendly dogs and with a older female kitty in the home. Or by themselves as a pair. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Sad story, Antionette lived with her family for her whole life, till a few weeks ago. They actually moved away, put her outside and drove away never to return. The neighbors saw it happen. One neighbor went over to see if he could help her and noticed that she had claws so long, one had grown under her paw and into her pad. He took her in, he can't afford to vet her or keep her but he did take her to a vet to be looked at and they said she had a infection from the claw. So we took her in, and she's a doll. We are looking for a quiet, non smoking, safe home for her. She's not been well cared for before and we want to make things right for her for the rest of her life. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com
