Story
My husband and I have been rescuing over 18 yrs. We fostered Bentley and his sibling from Berks County.S PCA at 3 weeks old. They were bottle fed together. His sister was my mother's cat, and Bentley was ours. My mother died 1.5 years ago and her cat, Princess, has not left my side since. Even though the female is Bentley's sibling. He has been attacking her due to jealousy. My husband and I had 4 cats and now inherited my mother's 2. We have to put Princesss in a room by herself, because she is declawed and is defenseless, it will be 2 years in March and it is not fair. Bentley is our baby boy, however we now have 13 cats! Six of our own, & 7 feral outside in a catio. Bentley has never been outside , nor can he be an outside cat. We have spayed/neutered over 9 cats. (TNR) MY HUSBAND & I ARE NOW IN OUR 60's. We have been trying for 5 years to trap a female tortoise. She has been producing 2 litters a year. I just went outside this morning to find 1 of her nb babies. HELP!

Story
We have had Sasha for almost a year and we certainly love her. We believe she had a rough past and needs some patience until she gets acclimated to her surroundings. She does not love to be held but seems to love her occasional cuddles. She is really talkative and loves to be close to her people at all times, following us around the house. She gets along with our male cat but does not get along with our other female so she is cat selective. The biggest issue we are having is that she does not like our dog. At this point, it will not get better and I feel both animals would be happier living separately!

Story
Please meet Kamile!  This little sweetie was found at a Food Lion.  She is now playing with her foster family.  Here is a report from her foster 11/23/2025:  'She’s a beautiful, sassy torti with a BIG personality. She’s polydactyl on her back paws, has beautiful amber eyes, and has one cute white whisker:)  She’s great with other cats & kittens, even though she plays rough with her foster brother (Tigger)-she’s very vocal and a bit of a drama queen! She purrs really loud & loves to cuddle & be held, too. She’s litter box trained, fully vaccinated, and loves to play & carry around her bouncy spring toys & stuffed mice.    Does Kamile sound like the purrfect addition to your family? YOu can now meet her in our Brandywine PetSmart adoption center.  Please ask about her!   Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster:  Amy P.)December 5, 2025, 6:13 am

Story
BONDED PAIR: Mittens and Noir Polydactyl!!  Mittens is an adorable, reserved, gray kitty. She is the smallest kitten in her litter. She really enjoys different types of spring toys, both traditional springs, and the more modern flicks/cone tubes. Like her sister , Mittens will most likely benefit from a quieter home. She is still learning to adjust to louder noises, even her foster family moving quickly around her can make her more on the reserved side. Mittens can enjoy pets and cuddles, she just needs to warm up first. She does not seem to enjoy getting her nails trimmed. She enjoys a cat tower but does not feel it necessary to be on top of the tower.  Mittens has been exposed to her siblings as well as three additional adult cats and she gets along well with all of them. She is beginning to wrestle more with her sister, and they do enjoy chasing each other. Her foster parents have learned that Mittens is a very smart cat. She likes to hide under furniture, but peeks to see what is really happening. She is fast, and could be a flight risk if spooked so extra careful with this kitty! Mittens is true to her name- she has adorable gray mittens! Mittens and her sister Noir ( FCID 11/04/2025-124)  are playing with their foster family. Please submit a no-obligation application for a meet and greet or to adopt today: https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Thank you!  (Foster: Michelle B.). Story
Meet gorgeous orange tabby Jerry!  Ben (grey) and Jerry (orange polydactyl) are a bonded pair who have really come into their own in foster care. They started out cautious, but quickly discovered that life outside their safe room was worth exploring. Now they spend most of their day in the main living areas, choosing to be near their people and observing everything with bright curiosity.Personality & Behavior:These two aren’t lap cats, but they are absolutely social. They greet their foster with quick pets, follow people from room to room, and consistently choose to be in shared spaces. Their affection is quiet and subtle—they like companionship without needing constant physical contact. They are devoted play enthusiasts. When they play, they go all in: pouncing, shredding, zooming, and taking their jobs as toy-destroyers very seriously. They also adore “Cat TV,” lounging on soft mats and watching bird videos with tail flicks and wide, engaged eyes.Despite their independent streak, they enjoy having a predictable, cozy environment with spots to lounge, watch, and feel part of the household activity. Their confidence grows every day.Compatibility With Dogs:Ben and Jerry handled a calm dog introduction beautifully. They stayed relaxed and curious, but cautious Ben even approached the gate and gently touched noses with the dog. With proper, slow introductions, they should do well in a home with a respectful, cat-savvy dog.Ideal Home:These boys are perfect for someone who appreciates cats with independent but social personalities. They enjoy being near their humans, observing daily life, and joining the action in their own gentle way. They need mental stimulation, room to explore, and plenty of sturdy toys to satisfy their energetic play style. They must be adopted together, as they rely on each other for comfort and confidence. Please check out their sweet video:  https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tP0bI68GP6A . Please submit our no-obligation Adoption Application for a meet and greet or to adopt:  https://forgottencats.org/adoption-application/.  Not ready to adopt?  Please consider fostering:  https://forgottencats.org/foster-a-cat/.   Thank you!  (Foster:  Nikki S)  December 7, 2025, 6:29 am
