Story
Meet Syrup Polydactyl! Extra toes Syrup is quiet magic. This 9-10 week old solid gray girl is the definition of shy but sweet. She is soft in every way, from her plush silver-gray coat to her gentle, timid heart. At first, Syrup will hang back and watch the world with big, cautious eyes. She is the quietest of Momma Sundae’s kittens and it takes her a little time to feel safe. Do not underestimate her though. Patience with Syrup pays off in the most beautiful way. Once she decides you are trustworthy, she transforms. Syrup will creep into your lap, tuck herself against you, and purr so softly you have to lean in to hear it. She is a professional snuggler in the making. She just needs someone who will go slow and let her bloom on her own timeline. She loves gentle play and gets along wonderfully with other cats. They help bring her out of her shell. She would do best with kind kids who understand that she is sensitive, and with a cat-friendly dog or a feline buddy to show her the ropes. Syrup is the kind of kitten who will form the deepest bond with her person. She won’t demand your attention, but she will treasure it. Having her love feels like being let in on a beautiful secret. She is litterbox trained, will be fully vetted before adoption, and must be an indoor-only home. Currently fostered in Newport, TN with her mom and siblings. Syrup is waiting for a quiet, loving home where she can feel safe enough to share all the sweetness she has inside. If you have a gentle heart and a warm lap, Syrup is ready to fill them both. Story
Meet Butterscotch If sunshine had a kitten version, it would be Butterscotch. This 9-10 week old light orange boy is probably the friendliest of the bunch, and that is saying something. He comes with big paws, an even bigger personality, and a heart to match. Butterscotch was born to be loved. He is the first one to run up for attention, the first to climb into your lap, and the last one to leave once he is there. If you are sitting down, expect a warm, fluffy orange kitten to immediately claim you. He lives for cuddles, purrs like a little motor, and will soak up every bit of affection you have to give. He is a medium-haired fluffball with that cream coloring that glows in the sunlight. And as if he wasn’t charming enough, Butterscotch is polydactyl. Those extra toes on his big mitts just make him extra huggable. Don’t let all the snuggles fool you though. This boy plays hard too. He romps with his siblings, chases toys, and has the goofy, happy energy that only orange cats seem to have. He is good with kids, other cats, and dogs. Basically, Butterscotch thinks everyone is his best friend. He is litterbox trained, will be fully vetted before adoption, and must be an indoor-only home. Currently fostered in Newport, TN with his mom, Momma Sundae. Butterscotch is ready to bring his big love and big paws to a family of his own. Warning: adopting him may result in excessive purring, lap hogging, and a permanent smile on your face. Story
Biscuit is a cream, polydactyl kitty cat who is shy and reserved most of the time, but is an absolute love bug when she wants attention. She will acclimate to dogs, eventually, but she will make her distaste for them known at first. She gets along with some cats in our household, but I believe she would be happier with only one or two cat siblings or as a single cat. We moved over a year ago to downsize, and she has not acclimated well to a more confined space with a dog and 5 cat siblings. She's so sweet and loving when she wants attention, but she does shy away from socializing when too many things happening at once. She is particularly affectionate when too many of her siblings are not around. I've had Biscuit since she was a kitten, and I want to find a better living situation for her where she can not be as scared and reserved. This house isn't the correct home for her, unfortunately, and it is difficult to rehome such a sweet soul.

Good with kids,
Story
Adopted from WCAC a little over a month ago. Good with adults low maintenance. Not good with kids. He did fine with the resident cat-friendly dog but was terrorizing the other two cats in the home. The fact that he's polydactyl (extra toes) makes him a little extra special. Notes from previous owner: "Binx is a cat with a confident, curious, intelligent, and independent personality. He adjusted quickly to our home and learned his new name almost immediately. He settles into routines with ease and enjoys being involved in whatever is happening around him. He likes quietly sharing space with his people, keeping you company while you cook, fold laundry, or go about your day. Rather than constantly seeking attention, Binx enjoys simply being nearby. He lets you know when he's interested in affection and also communicates his boundaries clearly, appreciating when those signals are respected. Binx has a persistent, socially investigative personality. He is highly aware of the other animals around him and often observes or investigates what they are doing. Because of this, he may be happiest as an only cat or with companions who are socially confident and comfortable with a cat who takes a strong interest in their activities. He also lived successfully with our active, vocal, cat-friendly dog. Although our dog barked frequently, Binx was comfortable sharing the home with her and was not bothered by the noise. Binx is highly food motivated and loves treats, making him eager to learn. He is already learning "sit" and "spin" and enjoys short training sessions. His favorite place is a sunny window perch where he can watch the world outside, especially in the late morning hours and through the afternoons . In the evening he enjoys interactive play, and exploring the house. His favorite toys are ribbon wand toys, and he loves catnip, Churu, and Temptations treats. Binx uses the litter box reliably, is comfortable being picked up, and tolerates brushing and nail trims in short sessions, with a Churu. Our household includes a senior conflict-avoidant resident cat. Despite slow introductions, environmental modifications and close supervision, we came to the conclusion that our home was not the right long-term fit for Binx. His persistent, socially investigative personality was simply not compatible with our resident cat's temperament. We believe he deserves a home where his confidence, curiosity, and engaging personality can be appreciated without causing stress to another pet. Getting to know Binx has truly been a privilege. We hope these observations help him find the family that is the perfect match for his wonderful personality. He deserves a home where he can thrive."
