Story
Meet Dexter 🐾 Dexter is a sweet, friendly young cat who is looking for his forever home. He came to us after being brought into our veterinary clinic in Lake Worth, and despite our efforts to locate an owner, no one has come forward. Now, we’re excited to help this special boy find the loving home he deserves. Dexter is estimated to be around 6–8 months old and has an excellent personality. He is affectionate, social, and enjoys being around people — the kind of cat who easily wins hearts. One of his most charming features is that he’s a polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes, which only adds to his uniqueness and cuteness. He has taken some time to adjust to our dogs and cats. Eventually has adjusted but does need time and space before introducing. That may lessen now that he is neutered. ALso fun fact Dexter has been raised as a hospital cat for the last 3 weeks as we have been attempting to find his home with no luck. We continue the search daily, but now we are looking for a home. From a medical standpoint, Dexter will be fully taken care of prior to adoption: He is neutered FIV/FeLV tested negative Fecal test negative Will be microchipped Will receive at least his first round of vaccines Dexter has been such a joy to have around the clinic, and we know he will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a loving, friendly, and special young cat. If you’re looking to add a truly great kitty to your family, Dexter may be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Olive! Olive is a sweet and gorgeous girl born in 2018. Olive was surrendered by her owners after kids came along Olive spent her days hiding in fear of the noise and chaos. They felt she would do better with a calmer home. Olive is shy at first and very sweet. She will need a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to relax. She is playful and likes cat nip, to chase feathered wand toys, and to hang out in her tunnel. She does well with other cats when properly introduced and has excellent litter manners. Story
Meet KittyBorn in late 2017Fully vettedKitty is a big handsome 20 lb chunk of love with the calmest sweetest personality. He is incredibly laid back and just wants to be near his people whether that is lounging nearby or soaking up affection. Kitty is gentle tolerant and easygoing even around dogs though he would likely thrive best in a quieter home with calmer animals.Kitty has hypothyroidism and takes his medication twice daily like a champ with no fuss at all. He is great for grooming too. Nail trims are no problem and brushing is one of his favorite activities.Kitty started peeing outside the litter box after a big change at home when his owner started a new job. A UTI has been ruled out and the vet believes this behavior is stress related so a stable low stress environment is key for him.The fun stuffLoves tubes and treatsVery affectionate and people orientedChill gentle and sweetDog tolerant and has lived with dogs his whole lifeNo experience with other catsKitty is looking for a calm understanding home where he can relax feel safe and be loved and in return he will give you a whole lot of affection and companionship. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption.
