🐾 Meet Tapas! 🐾Approx. 6–8 years old | Chihuahua | Neutered | Microchipped | UTD on VaccinesTapas is a tiny tan-and-white Chihuahua who has clearly had a tough past. He is extremely fearful of human touch and the world around him. While he will allow you to wrap him in a blanket and place him in your lap, he doesn’t seem to find comfort in it yet—and we want to be honest that we don’t know if he ever will. Tapas may remain a very timid, hands-off kind of dog for the rest of his life.He also doesn’t appear to be house trained and will need someone who can work with him patiently or is comfortable with a dog who may never fully learn those skills. Tapas does fine around other dogs, and we’re unsure how he feels about cats.Tapas will need a quiet, understanding home with someone who is willing to love him exactly as he is—no expectations, no pressure, just kindness. He is in need of a dental, which we are getting scheduled. He comes neutered, microchipped, and up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, and DHPP vaccines.Tapas isn’t the dog for everyone—but for the right person, he could be a gentle, low-maintenance companion who simply needs a safe place to exist. If you have room in your home and heart for a fragile soul who may never fully come out of his shell, Tapas might be the one. 💛🐾
