Hi, My name is Stevie. I am a very classy lady with a little spunk. I am blind so I cannot see you, but my hearing is impeccable! I am always listening for the next fun thing to come my way. Crinkly toys drive me bonkers and I can't wait to play. I am also in love with the culinary arts, we food and food inside of toys makes my day special. I like to be carried like a princess, but if you know where you're going then I trust you to walk and I'll follow you to fun places. I love walks and I love to smell everything. I am an explorer and I am looking for my co-captain. Where I live right now is a hospital. I went there to get a check up before being able to be adopted and we decided I should stay because I have lots of friends and they know the things I like. I do admit that I am afraid of other pets, but I haven't really met too many. Being blind is kind of hard sometimes to meet new friends. I would do well with another older dog who wants to be my friend. A person who likes to move at their own pace is who I want. Do you like to smell the flowers and snuggle up with a good audio book? Sammy is a 8 1/2 year old male neutered long hair chihuahua weighing 16 lbs. He is friendly with people but gets quite excited and barks at other dogs when he sees them. He loves his walks but also very mellow and likes his "relaxing time". He is current on all vaccines, has recently had an anesthetic dental and is in excellent health. Roo and Cody are both 5 years old and a bonded pair, most likely litter mates, that must be adopted together. They play and sleep together and will give their owner wonderful companionship and hours of laughter and love. Both are very sweet dogs and have been fostered in a loving home where they are learning to trust. They were rescued from a high kill shelter where they taken after being found on the streets as strays in the Inland Empire. Roo is friendly but shy when meeting new people. She loves to be held and will do best in a quiet home with experienced, patient and understanding dog owners. Roo and Cody make a perfect pair and will do best in a home where their owner is always with them. Their adoption fee is $600 for both.
