Story
Dinkie is a 12-year-old senior girl with no known health issues. She has been through a lot of changes over the past year and would benefit from a calm, stable home where she can settle into a consistent routine. Dinkie is independent and can be a little grouchy at times, so she would do best with an experienced owner who understands senior dogs and respects her boundaries. She is not a good fit for homes with children, and she has not done well with other dogs. Her experience with cats is unknown. Despite her quirks, Dinkie does well at the veterinarian and handles visits calmly. She has never been crate trained and would likely be happiest in a quieter home where she can enjoy her golden years with someone patient and understanding. We know senior dogs with special considerations can be harder to place, but Dinkie deserves a chance to spend her later years feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. We greatly appreciate any efforts to help her find the right match.
