Story
S’mores is a resilient 4–5-year-old Pomeranian with a story of survival and hope. Found injured and frightened on a roadside in Coos Bay, he arrived in our care severely underweight, covered in ticks and fleas, and in desperate need of medical attention and compassion. Despite everything he’s been through, S’mores is now on the path to healing. Since his rescue, he has received vaccinations, parasite treatment, grooming, and a microchip. With each passing day, he’s slowly coming out of his shell—learning to trust, feel safe, and enjoy the simple comforts of a loving environment. S’mores is gentle, gets along well with other dogs, and shows a sweet curiosity around children, though he can still be startled by sudden movements. He will thrive in a patient, understanding home where he’s given the time and space to fully adjust and blossom. Scheduled to be neutered in May 2026, S’mores is ready to begin his next chapter.
