Meet Bailey! Bailey is an absolute angel of a pup. When left alone, she may bark for a minute or two, but then quickly settles in for a nap. She’s been perfect in her crate, no accidents and no destroyed toys, and she even goes right in for meals, waiting patiently to be served. As soon as she wakes up, she heads straight to the door and potties immediately once outside. She is fantastic with other dogs! Even her foster’s two older pups, who aren’t always fans of new friends, have happily welcomed her for snuggles and backyard exploring. Bailey may be just a tiny bit nervous at first, but she warms up quickly and loves to cuddle once she feels comfortable. One of her favorite daily routines is rallying her foster siblings for outdoor time. Each morning, she makes the rounds with a cheerful little “bork!” to wake everyone up, then proudly leads a tail-wagging parade outside to sniff, wander, and enjoy the fresh air. While she’ll occasionally chew on an antler or snuggle a stuffed toy, Bailey’s favorite place is right next to her people, wiggling happily on the couch, soaking up belly rubs, and enjoying all the love she can get. Her tail thumps like a drum whenever she’s near you, and she’s just as content lounging in the sun as she is exploring the yard. Bailey is jovial, sweet, and surprisingly spry; you’d never guess she’s 12! She has a calm, even-tempered personality and is very respectful of boundaries. The only times she really barks are briefly in her crate or first thing in the morning when it’s time to head outside. She would love a home where someone is around often, but she’s also been very adaptable and does well even with a busy schedule. After spending so many years with her previous family, she has adjusted beautifully to her new environment and continues to show just how resilient and loving she is. Bailey truly is the perfect little package of joy, an easygoing, affectionate companion who’s ready to bring so much love into her forever home.
