Story
Loki is a loving male that is housebroken. He is soft fluffy and needs his fur trimmed regularly. He is not fond of water but loves to play. He is 10 years old. We would not be giving him up but my husband and I are about to set out on a new adventure. We will be completing the great loop on a boat. Loki would be miserable on this trip and it wouldn’t be fair for us to put him on a boat for a year long trip. He must go to someone who will love him with all their heart.

Story
Meet BROWNIE 🐾🤎 Brownie is a 3-year-old, 13-pound Pomeranian who, along with George & our sweet Lil One 🌈, came to us as part of a breeder surrender involving 19 dogs. Fawn's Small Dog Rescue took in most of the others while these three became Papillon Pals. And before anyone asks... NO, we did not shave her. She came to us like this. All of them did. Makes you wonder what condition their coats were in that warranted shaving them down, doesn't it? I particularly love the little "carpet swatch" they left on Brownie's shoulders so we can see what her coat should look like. We've started her on a high-quality, Omega-rich diet along with melatonin supplements to hopefully help that beautiful double coat come back. She's also starting to lose a little of that extra weight. Yay Brownie! But her coat isn't the only thing we're working on. Brownie spent the first three years of her life in a breeding/kennel environment, and because of that, she missed out on a LOT of the experiences that help a dog learn how to live in our world. Her socialization & development may be a little behind, so she's going to need a patient, understanding person willing to help her build confidence and introduce her to all the wonderful things life has to offer... a little at a time. When Brownie first arrived, she would circle almost nonstop. The good news? We could call her out of it. As she's learned our routine and started feeling safer, the circling has decreased tremendously. We're now seeing her lie down, relax & simply enjoy being part of the household. She also used to sprinkle a wee bit when first coming out of her crate. That submissive peeing is already becoming less frequent as she learns the routine and gains confidence. Going outside seems pretty new to Brownie, so she WILL need work with housetraining. Once she's outside, though, she LOVES exploring. She's even been on a leash and does pretty darn well—as long as you understand you're going on HER walk, in HER direction, rather than whatever silly route you had planned. We'll work on that. Brownie gets along with other dogs but can be a little ridiculous about her toys, treats & chews. She doesn't particularly appreciate another dog coming over to inspect her treasures, so resource guarding is something her adopter will need to be mindful of and continue working on. Underneath all of those things is a very sweet little girl with SO much potential. Brownie doesn't need someone who will spend the rest of her life feeling sorry for the first three years she lost. She needs someone excited about all the years she has ahead of her. Someone who will patiently open her world. Take her places. Teach her things. Celebrate the little victories. Give her rules & structure while showing her that humans can be kind, life can be fun & there's a whole big world outside of a kennel. And with some patience, love & fun training—with TREATS because girlfriend LOVES her treats —I think watching Brownie discover that world is going to be pretty darn special. Her past explains where she is today. It does NOT have to define where she goes from here. If you're ready to help Brownie stop simply existing in her little world and start really LIVING in it, she just might be waiting for you. 📝 Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/PPFL-A-4071 📍 Adoption radius: 150 miles from Jacksonville, FL 🏡 All other pets must be current on vaccinations, spayed/neutered & on heartworm prevention. P.S. To the folks considering buying a puppy from an online source such as Puppies.com or the like... I want you to remember Brownie. When you see that adorable puppy photo, think about the dogs you don't see. Picture Brownie circling in a kennel & remember that somewhere, a momma dog had to produce that "inventory." Brownie is what the cute puppy ad doesn't show you.

Titan and Ginger are small (6 and 9 lb), 8 yr old boy and girl Pomeranians who have been together their whole lives. They came into rescue when their owner became ill and could no longer take care of them. Titan and Ginger are very sweet babies who love to sit in your lap for as long as you will let them. They usually are indoor babies, but do like to explore the fenced in yard. Titan and Ginger would love a home with someone who would pay attention to them a lot. Titan and Ginger are fostering in the Northeast region of the USA. Please visit our main site for more information or to apply to adopt.

Story
Leo is a 12 lb., one year old (2/2026} Pomeranian / Chihuahua mix. Leo is inquisitive, smart and great with other small breed dogs. He does take a few moments to get used to a new environment but when he’s comfortable, he’s Mr. Personality Plus. Leo knows his name and comes running when you call him, especially when treats are involved (and he knows that word as well) He loves human attention but needs to work on leash walking and house training. Leo would love another dog in the house to play with and a fenced in yard to burn off his energy. He’s presently living in northeast Florida. Please visit our main site for more information or to submit an adoption application.
