Meet CAMI 🐾💕
Cami is an adorable 9-month-old, 10-pound Pomeranian who may be missing a leg, but I can assure you, she is NOT missing any personality. 😂
Cami came into the shelter with a badly broken front right leg that unfortunately couldn't be saved. Her leg was amputated, but apparently no one told Cami that having three legs was supposed to slow her down. This little tripod can navigate stairs, hop around like a champ & even jump up onto the ottoman. Getting back down? Ehhh... she's still working on that part. 😂
Cami is loving, playful, snuggly & very much still a puppy. She loves her toys, loves attention & is perfectly happy curling up with you for some serious cuddle time.
When it comes to new people, Cami is more of an observer than a social butterfly. She's curious about what's going on, but rather than running around greeting everyone, she prefers to stick close to her person like a little shadow & take it all in from there. Once you're her person, she definitely likes to keep tabs on you. ❤️
She is currently being fostered with 6 dogs & 3 cats. She was a little unsure of the bigger dogs at first but has learned to relax around them & will now happily lie beside them. She IS still a puppy though & is learning that not every dog appreciates a little girl getting in their face or giving them some puppy sass, so a patient doggie sibling would be most ideal.
As for the cats... Cami is still figuring those strange creatures out too. 😂 She's tried to playfully jump on one of them a time or two, but thankfully her foster family's very patient cats are used to foster babies & have been helping teach her some manners.
Cami also goes to doggie daycare every day & LOVES the staff. Because she's been recovering from surgery, she hasn't been able to fully join in with all the doggie shenanigans just yet, but once she's completely healed, I have a feeling she's going to have a blast.
She is not quite 100% housetrained, so her new family will need to continue working with her. She's still a puppy, and like we've said before, some pups catch on quickly while others simply need a little more time, patience & consistency.
Would Cami enjoy having a doggie sibling? I think so. Could she also be perfectly happy being someone's one & only spoiled little princess? Absolutely. 👑
Cami may only have three legs, but she has enough personality, love & puppy shenanigans for FOUR. ❤️ If you're looking for a tiny little sidekick who loves to play, loves to cuddle & has already proven that a bump in the road isn't going to stop her, Cami just might be your girl.
