If you're looking for a fun, adventurous sidekick who's always ready to get outside, I might just be your guy!
I'm a happy, active boy who absolutely LOVES being outdoors. Whether it's exploring, going for walks, hiking, playing, or splashing around, I'm all in. I have a kiddie pool here at the shelter, and it's one of my favorite things ever! If your summer plans involve lakes, rivers, sprinklers, or backyard pools, count me in!
I can sometimes be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn't take me long to warm up. Here's a few things about me:
I've done well with children. I've lived with both dogs and cats before. I've also made several dog friends here at the shelter! I do like to chase cats sometimes, but my previous owner said I've never been aggressive toward them! I'm potty trained and crate trained, though I may need a little time to learn your routine. I'm food motivated, eager to learn, and would love to keep building my confidence with you. I have a little husky in me, so don't be surprised if I have something to say every now and then!
I'm ready for a family that will give me the love, exercise, and adventures I've been waiting for. In return, I'll bring plenty of smiles, loyalty, and maybe a few happy splashes along the way.

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day.
We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
