Hi, I'm Apollo!
Husky Mix | 1 Year Old | 40 lb (need to gain a few pounds!)
I’m an active boy looking for a fresh start after my previous owner could no longer care for me.
Life’s been a little confusing lately, so I can be nervous when meeting new people and animals at first. I didn’t get a whole lot of socialization growing up, so sometimes the world feels a little big and overwhelming to me. But once I warm up? I’m a very sweet boy who LOVES affection and cuddles.
I really want to bond with my people and make them proud. I’m very food motivated, eager to learn, and I truly just want someone willing to be patient with me while I build confidence.
A few things about me
I’ve done well with kids I’ve lived with dogs and cats before I can be unsure around other dogs at first, but then I usually want to play I do like to chase kitties sometimes, but I’ve never hurt one I’m vocal sometimes… but hey, I am part husky I LOVE cuddles and attention once I trust you
I may be a little shy at first… but I promise I’m worth getting to know! I’m just looking for someone willing to help me learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.
Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Adoption fee is $100

Once submitted, staff will review your application during open hours. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet! Any other dogs in the home must come along and some dogs may require all family members to come as well! If it's a match, you can your new dog home the same day.
We do offer a 2 week foster to adopt trial time, to be sure the chosen pet is a good fit, before finalizing the adoption!
