In foster home, please let shelter staff know if you'd like to meet me! Hi, I'm Smalls. I may be a senior, but I still have so much love to give my next family. I came to the shelter due to no fault of my own, and I was very loved and well taken care of previously. I would love a nice, relaxing home to live my golden years in. I've done well with kids, am great at letting you know when I need to potty, and I love affection. I spin in circles when I get excited and love to give hugs and kisses. Seriously, I'm such a lovely boy. I need a home with no chickens or small animals, and I've done okay with other dogs after proper introductions. Meet Lola: A Gentle Senior Looking for Her Soft Landing 🐾 Lola is a German Shepherd mix who came to us through no fault of her own, and she is now searching for a cozy, peaceful home to live out her golden years. About Lola: Low Energy & Low Maintenance: She enjoys the simple things—looking out the window, resting near your feet, and brief bursts of excitement when you come home or it's time to go outside. Fully House & Crate Trained: 100% kennel trained and easygoing in the house. Great with Respectful Kids: Currently living happily with a toddler in her foster home! Dog Friendly: Does well with other dogs, though as a senior gal, she prefers respectful canine friends who won't get in her face (she'd love to be the gentle matriarch of the house). Lola doesn't ask for much—just a loving hand and a soft place to rest. If you have room in your heart for a sweet senior girl, Lola is ready to meet you!
