Update on WillySince arriving, Willy has really started to settle in, and it's been wonderful to watch him come out of his shell. He's found a few doggie friends to call his own and absolutely loves playing in the pool! He's discovering that life can be pretty fun, and he's becoming more comfortable enjoying all the good things that come with it.Willy can still be a little shy when it comes to affection, but he's taught us that affection isn't necessarily the most important part of a relationship for him. What matters most is your company and the time you spend together. He enjoys being near his people, sharing their space, and simply being included. For Willy, trust and connection are built through those quiet moments together.Willy is a handsome medium-sized mixed-breed dog who's ready for the fresh start he truly deserves.Willy came to us from a hoarding situation in Lincoln County, where he missed out on many of the everyday experiences that help dogs learn to trust and connect with people. Because of that, he's still working through a little emotional baggage. What Willy needs most is a patient, understanding family that will let him discover the world at his own pace.Despite his past, Willy is a genuinely sweet boy. He wants to be near his people and enjoys their company, even if he's still figuring out what all this "petting" is about.
