Story
We found Marshall abandoned at a Marshall's store. We were not looking to get a dog but couldn't leave him. As it is, we absolutely cannot keep him (or the coonhound in the picture, who we also found..) due to being away for work literally over half the time. He is extremely sweet natured and loving, a bit nervous, very quiet for a husky, is great with other dogs he's met and cats (we have a handful of cats), and little children/babies. Totally up to date on shots, has been neutered. I don't like the idea of rehoming a pet that believes he is "part of the pack" but due to life situations and being unable to give the time and attention that he requires, he NEEDS to go to a different home. I love this dog but cannot keep him and cannot afford to keep paying someone to take care of him when I'm gone for work. Ideally, someone would take him and the coonhound (Lenny) who has a similar story and is in the same situation as Marshall. But I understand if you can't take both. Probably 6yo.

Story
Sammie is a 13 year old pomeranian mix who found himself in need of a new beginning after his beloved owner passed away. Despite the big change in his life, Sammie's gentle spirit has remained unchanged-he absolutely adores attention and loves being close to his people.   This handsome little guy is currently working on a weight-loss journey in his foster home. Because he's a bit overweight, his ideal family will be moderately active and committed to helping him stay mobile and comfortable as he ages. Daily walks, light playtime, and a healthy routine will go a long way in supporting his joints and overall well-being   Sammie has so much love to give and is eager to spend his golden years in a home where he can feel safe, cherished, and included. If you're looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will brighten your days, Sammie might be the perfect match.
