Kay made her debut at HHS after being a little too much puppy for her previous home — but don’t let that fool you. This girl is truly a ray of sunshine and has been nothing but sweet since arriving at the shelter. Kay already knows the basics of training and is eager to keep learning; she just needs a human who’s ready to work with her and help her continue to shine. She’s scheduled to be spayed the week of January 5th and will be ready to start her next chapter with a family who can match her enthusiasm and loving spirit.

I arrived as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery — but what’s known is that I’m a friendly fellow ready to meet new friends (humans, that is!). I’ve got lots of energy, so if you enjoy walks, hikes, or just being out and about, I’d make great company. I’m eager to be your loyal companion and share in all kinds of fun together. While I’m friendly and open, I haven’t yet been evaluated with cats or children, so that part of my story is still being written.
