Story
Loki (AKA Ricky according to my 2 year old) is a fun ball of energy. He loves playing with our other dog Odin, and if at all possible I’d love to keep them together. He is crate trained, and about 90% house trained. We do have the occasional accident but it’s pretty rare. He is great with other dogs, big and small. He is fine with laid back cats, but will give chase to our cat that bullies him. He has never hurt him though! I rescued Loki from the Dallas animal shelter the day before he was set to be euthanized. It was about a week after my childhood dog of 20 years passed away so it was definitely an emotionally driven decision. Since then I’ve had a baby and another on the way. Loki requires a more active family and more attention than we are able to provide. It really hurts my heart that him and Odin don’t really feel like an integrated part of our family, and they definitely deserve someone who can treat them as such. They really are good dogs. Need leash training as they pull

Story
Odin, or, “Owen” according to my toddler, is a big lovable doof. He is a big cuddle boy who loves to cuddle on the couch and get belly rubs. He is a good jumper, so you will definitely need a tall sturdy privacy fence to keep him in. He is great with other dogs big or small, crate trained, and house trained. He does tend to like to spend most of his time outside patrolling the yard. He is best friends with our husky mix Loki so if at all possible I’d like to keep them together. I’m having another baby and just can not give him the time and love he needs to stay out of boredom related shenanigans. As much as it pains me to admit, I have not emotionally connected with the dogs in a way that allows me to feel like they are part of the family. I think I moved on too quickly after my childhood dog of almost 20 years died. I want these dogs to find a happy home where they are actually PART of the family and not just existing in it. Does need more leash training as he pulls a lot
