Story
This sweet, quiet 11-year-old 44lb female is a low impact pet who will help get you out of the house as she adores walking. She is not a "player", as she does not care about balls, frisbees or any toy. She just sleeps when not outside, and will walk with you in any weather. She is reliably house-trained, up-to-date on vaccines (3 year rabies update in June) and surprisingly good with cats once they get acquainted. She's a good companion to retired folks who can get out for walks three or more times a day for exercise and exploring, and good with kids and strangers. Curious about other dogs and people she meets, but with a 5-second attention span. (Ready to keep walking after a brief "hi!"). Reacts excited around reactive dogs, but loses interest if you keep walking. A large fenced yard could be an alternative to frequent walks, as she likes being outside and has the Husky tendency to wander if off-lead. Can travel for Meet&Greet VT, NH, NY. Fee waived for Senior-to-Senior adoption.
