Meet Starling – A Spirited Young Husky Learning How to Shine Starling is a 1.5-year-old, 52-pound husky who came into our care on 4/16 and is currently thriving in her foster home. With her bright brown eyes and lively energy, she’s a fun, curious young dog who’s just starting to discover what home life is all about. Starling is alert, eager to explore, and full of personality. While she can be cautious with new situations at first, she warms up quickly and shows a playful, adventurous side once she feels comfortable. She’s still learning the basics of indoor life, but she’s making steady progress and shows so much potential. In her foster home, Starling has done wonderfully with other animals. She enjoys the company of other dogs and benefits from a confident canine friend who can help guide her. She has also shown no prey drive toward cats or chickens, which expands her possibilities for the right home. She is also: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines and microchipped • Heartworm negative Starling is looking for: • An adopter who enjoys an active, spirited dog • A home with structure and patience as she continues to learn • Ideally, a friendly resident dog who can help her build confidence Starling is the perfect match for someone who loves a dog with energy, curiosity, and the desire to connect once she feels secure. Arrow has a sweet, attentive demeanor and connects quickly with his people. He’s playful without being overwhelming and settles nicely after activity, making him a great fit for someone who wants an active dog that can also relax and enjoy downtime. He does well with other dogs and would be happy to have a canine friend, though he’d also do fine soaking up attention as an only dog. With her striking blue eyes, calm presence, and gentle personality, she’s the kind of dog who wins people over instantly. At about 70 pounds, Silver is a bit on the chubby side, which only adds to her charm. She seems to have lived in a home before and absolutely loves being indoors. She settles easily, follows routines, and appears to be housebroken. More than anything, Silver loves to be close to her people and happily leans in for snuggles. Silver is fully vetted and ready for her next chapter: • Spayed • Up to date on vaccines and microchipped • Heartworm negative She also does wonderfully with other animals. In her foster home, Silver has gotten along well with other dogs and has shown no prey drive toward cats or chickens, making her a great match for a variety of home environments.
