Meet Baron – A Gentle Giant Still Waiting for His Forever Home
Baron has been patiently waiting since January, and it’s now September. That’s eight long months this sweet boy has spent watching others find homes while he’s been overlooked — despite being one of the kindest souls in the shelter.
At 82 pounds, Baron is a true gentle giant. He’s currently thriving in a temporary foster home, where he’s finally getting the chance to show off his playful, goofy side. Sometimes he gets the zoomies, bounding around with joy, and his ear curls adorably when he’s curious or unsure — it’s the kind of quirky charm that makes you fall in love fast.
What We Know About Baron:
• Neutered and heartworm negative
• Knows his commands: sit, fetch, shake, down, and even speak
• Walks nicely on a leash
• Loves to play fetch and run
• Big fan of belly rubs (his tongue usually hangs out from excitement in his pictures!)
• Calm, affectionate, and incredibly sweet once he feels safe
