Howard is a six‑year‑old, 17‑pound pug who lives for snuggles and being as close to his people as physically possible. He's the definition of a Velcro dog — he follows you everywhere, wants to be part of everything you do, and truly believes all affection should be directed right at him. He's wonderful with cats and great with other dogs, though he'll happily remind everyone that he prefers to be the center of attention. Howie is fairly good on a leash and continues to improve with practice. He's also crate‑trained, snoozing comfortably while his people are at work and sleeping soundly in his crate at night. His house training is coming along very well. He's a low‑to‑medium activity kind of guy who isn't very interested in toys — he'd much rather curl up in a soft chair and soak up the coziness. And when it comes to food? Howie is extremely food‑motivated and will happily work for snacks. Most of all, Howie is a loving, affectionate companion with endless kisses to give.
