Story
Hello there, future best friend! My name is Sid, and I’m a unique 2-year-old pug/husky mix with a heart full of love just waiting for you. I’m a snuggly little guy who absolutely adores cuddling up on the couch after a fun play session. I’ve got a playful spirit and a big personality, and I’m always ready to show off my sitting skills and listening prowess. My favorite treat? Well, I must confess, I can’t resist the occasional fry, especially after I’ve dazzled you with my obedience. I promise to bring lots of joy, wagging tails, and warm snuggles into your life. Let’s make a lifetime of memories together!

Story
Hi, I'm Biscuit! My story started in the desert. My mom and dad were surviving on their own near a ranch, where my mom gave birth to seven puppies. Sadly, two of my siblings disappeared, and that's when Desert Paws Sanctuary stepped in. Even though they were completely full and had no space, they knew they couldn't leave us behind. They rescued our entire family, including our mom and dad, and brought us to safety. Not long after, parvo entered our lives. Thankfully, the rescue acted quickly and made sure we all received the care we needed. Now I'm healthy, happy, and ready for my forever home! I love playing with my siblings, exploring new things, and enjoying all the fun that comes with being a puppy. Like any puppy, I'm curious, playful, and always looking for my next adventure. I'm ready to trade rescue life for a family of my own. Could that be with you? Story
Hi, I'm Sweet Pea! I was born in the desert near a ranch, where my mom and dad were trying to survive while raising our family. There were seven of us puppies, but when two of my siblings disappeared, Desert Paws Sanctuary rushed to help. Even though they had no room, they rescued our entire family and brought us somewhere safe. Not long after our rescue, I became the first puppy to show signs of parvo. I tested positive and everyone was worried about me. Thankfully, I received the antibody treatment, and within just 24 hours I started feeling like myself again. Today, I'm a happy, playful little girl who loves being held. I snort when I get excited. My foster family says it's one of my cutest qualities! I love running around, playing with my brothers, and soaking up all the attention I can get. I fought hard for this second chance, and now I'm ready to find the forever family I've always deserved. Story
Hi, Im Sprout. I was rescued in Mecca alongside Bean and our puppies after we were abandoned in the desert. We had seven puppies, but sadly only five were with us when help finally arrived. Thanks to Desert Paws Sanctuary, my family was brought to safety. Being a mom was my most important job, and now that my puppies are weaned and growing up, its finally my turn to be cared for. Im scheduled to be spayed soon and am looking forward to the next chapter of my life. I love attention and affection and am happiest when someone is petting me or telling me what a good girl I am. Im a little more laid-back than Bean, but dont let that fool you. I still enjoy running around, playing, and having fun. After everything Ive been through, Im ready for a family of my own, one that will never leave me behind again. Hi, I'm Nugget! My life began in the desert near a ranch, where my mom gave birth to seven puppies. When two of my siblings disappeared, Desert Paws Sanctuary knew they had to help. Despite being completely full, they rescued my mom, dad, and all of us puppies and gave us a chance at a better life. A few days after my sister Sweet Pea got sick, I started showing signs of parvo too. Thanks to quick action and lifesaving treatment, I recovered and am now doing wonderfully. These days, I'm all about being a puppy. I love to play, wrestle, explore, and make my foster family laugh with my silly antics. I have a big personality packed into a little body and a whole lot of love to give. I've overcome a lot in my short life, and now I'm searching for the one thing missing, a forever family to call my own. Story
Hi, I'm Lucy! If you're looking for a dog who will make you laugh every day, I might just be your girl. Im a happy, energetic Boxer who loves toys, playtime, and being around my people. One of my favorite things to do is back up and give you my butt when I want pets, it always seems to get a laugh! My story didn't start out so happy. I was found wandering alone at a park in Mecca. I was extremely thin, had recently had puppies, and it was clear I had been through a lot. The people who found me believe I was likely used for breeding and then abandoned when I was no longer needed. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan took me in and kept me safe until Desert Paws Sanctuary had room for me. During that time, I lived with a French Bulldog and did great. I can socialize with smaller dogs, though I do best with proper introductions and a little time to get comfortable. Today, my difficult past is behind me. I've gained weight, discovered how much fun toys can be, and learned that people can be kind. I have so much love, personality, and joy to share with the right family. I deserve a home where I'll never be abandoned again, a home where I can play, be loved, and happily wiggle my way over for pets whenever I want attention. Could that home be yours?
