This is Laurel! They were rescued from Stockton Animal Shelter, where they were on the euthanization list. Stockton had gotten this dog, alongside 6 other housemates, from the home of a hospitalized owner, who unfortunately was unable to care for them after their hospitalization. They came to us scared, but hopeful for a home. Laurel may be a bit shy at first, but is so sweet. Once they are warmed up to you, they will be your friend forever! Excited to find your new family member at Wags and Whiskers? Our pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered. Many come from unknown backgrounds, so please consider the 10+ year commitment. Schedule an appointment today! Call 530-895-8888. We don't offer holds; pets can be adopted anytime.
