Story
Aloha! I'm Stitch a 3 year old pig mix! I've had a bit of a rough start in life, but I've got a big heart full of love just waiting for the right person to share it with. I'm a gentle, sweet boy who thrives on cuddles - if it were up to me, we'd never leave the couch.I'm looking for a forever buddy who will let me be their shadow, their lap-warmer, and their loyal little sidekick. Treats, walks, and snuggles are all my favorites, and I bring extra love wherever I go.Come meet me at Woods Humane Society in SLO and see how much happiness we can bring to each other's lives! Story
Flash (Fawn, male) and Peanut (Black, female) are a package deal. They are two best buddies and I would love for them to be rehomed together as they have spent their whole lives snuggling, playing, and going on adventures together. Flash just turned 10 in February on the 25th and Peanut will be 10 on July 15th! I have had them since they were wee little pups and I am heartbroken that I have to rehome them but I feel it is in their best interest for quality of life. We started van life about 3 years and now I have two little ones and still going strong so they are in need of a slower lifestyle now that they are older. They love going on walks, hikes, car rides, the beach, dog park. They are very social dogs and love human affection. They are house-trained and crate trained, but prefer their crate when being left home alone. They also both went through Doggie Do Good so they know basic manners. Story
Io has been our family dog for the last 7 years. He is incredibly affectionate and cuddly. He weighs in at 27 pounds and is 3/4 Boston Terrier and 1/4 Boxer. We have papers for him, as we adopted him when he was one. We have taken Io on many camping, hiking and family adventures. He is agile and loves to be active, yet still is happy to cuddle with you if you want a lazy day. One year ago we adopted another puppy for our 10 year old son. That puppy is now 68 pounds. The two dogs get along 99% of the time, however Io has started to resource guard and has attacked the larger dog over something simple (like a dropped chip). The larger dog defends himself, and Io has sustained injuries as a result. We have spent a lot of time with a trainer to try to get both to cohabitate, but the reality is, it’s safer for both boys to be in separate homes. Io would do best in a home where he was the only dog, or a home with a dog that is his same size. He has cohabitated with other dogs in the past.
