Hi! My name is Stitch and I’m a loving Boston Terrier looking for my fur-ever home! I absolutely adore people and would make a fantastic companion in a quiet household with no other dogs, cats, or young children under 12 years of age. I love to snuggle, play fetch, travel, shake my butt, kiss my humans, and eat all the treats! I have a very calm and quiet temperament, but I am other-dog reactive, and so I need to be the only dog in the household. I love to go on walks and travel, but I do need to keep my distance from other dogs when out in public as barking or loud noises can make me very nervous. I also know lots of tricks including stay, sit, place, jump, and am very treat motivated to learn more! I’m ready to snuggle up next to you during your next Netflix binge. Likes/Dislikes Toys: Loves all toys and is gentle with them. Other Animals: Stitch is reactive to other dogs and needs to be the only cat/dog in the household. People/Kids: Stitch loves people. Not suited for a home with small kids (under 12 yrs old). Car Rides: Loves car rides and makes a perfect traveling companion for long trips. Separation: No issues with separation anxiety. In some cases with larger Boston mixes or other dogs, we do make exceptions. Please ask the foster momma. We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to personally drive/fly to get the dog. The East Coast division (NC/SC/VA/MD/DC) does have special transport capabilties for their kids. Ask them.
