Story
Meet Branch… aka Eddie… aka Edward Branch 👑This ~3-year-old English Bulldog is built like a tank, powered by snacks, and full of goofy, lovable chaos. He’s potty trained, very food motivated, and knows his commands… when he feels like listening. Eddie LOVES his people and will happily follow you around for company and surprise kisses before claiming the comfiest spot in the house as his own.Outside, though? Total maniac. He lives for zoomies, sprinting around the yard, and being chased—so a home with a fenced yard where he can burn off some of his “extra-ness” would be ideal. He’s also a toy lover, snack enthusiast, and will proudly eat a strawberry… cap and all 🍓Eddie briefly went into a home, but quickly made it clear that apartment-style living wasn’t for him thanks to his love of using those impressive vocal cords. He also showed some grumpy behavior around food with the other dog in the home, and can get a little snotty about being made to do things he doesn’t want to do (he does put the “bully” in “Bulldog”). Trying to evict him from the couch before he’s ready? Expect opinions.A few things to know:- No small children — he’s basically a happy bowling ball with legs- No cats — unless they enjoy being chased- Would likely do best as the only dog, or with careful management around food- Baths are a no, and green beans are definitely a noEddie is looking for a home that understands bulldog stubbornness and will love him for all of his ridiculousness. In return, you’ll get endless laughs, loyalty, and plenty of bulldog kisses. Branch is currently relaxing in a foster home, so please fill out an adoption application and call our front office to discuss next steps!💙Requirements: Martingale Collar; Children 12yrs+; Fenced Yard; Breed KnowledgeAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Found strutting through a Winn-Dixie parking lot like he owned the place, Bean Pie was adopted and sadly recently returned due to his adopter facing multiple upcoming surgeries and no longer being able to keep up with this quirky little character. Now he’s a sturdy 45 lbs of attitude, adventure, and affection all rolled into one compact pup. He’s part lizard hunter, part cuddle bug—and 100% entertaining. Bean Pie loves car rides, gnawing on his favorite bone, and soaking up affection. He has big feelings about trucks (barking is his preferred language), and while he enjoys outings, leash manners are still a work in progress. He’s used to having free roam of the house and usually naps when left alone. At night, he settles into his bed or the coziest corner he can find. Just keep an eye on the door—this clever boy won’t miss an open opportunity. Bean Pie is dog-selective and would do best as your one-and-only or with a dog his own size. No small animals or kids, please—he can get mouthy when overexcited, so a calm, experienced adult home is where he’ll thrive.Bean Pie does have a partial cruciate ligament tear, which means he may occasionally limp if he overdoes it on activity. In a home environment, this may be very manageable with conservative care—taking things easy, limiting high-impact activity, and using over-the-counter pain management as needed. That said, we want what’s best for him long-term. We are happy to send Bean Pie home as a foster-to-adopt, and if surgery ultimately becomes necessary, H.A.L.O. would cover the cost, as long as the adopter is willing to handle the post-surgery recovery and care.If you’re looking for a big personality in a compact body and don’t mind helping him take life a little slower, Bean Pie might be your perfect slice. 🐾🍰Requirements: Martingale Collar; Dog Selective; Calm Children 16+; Foster-To-Adopt (Knee Injury)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home.
